Ya, but I looked at the ingredients for KC Masterpiece and that's tomato-based as well. But it has high-fructose corn syrup and molasses which must be what turns it into crap. I wanted to be clear on the distinction, this is a life or death contest after all.

Molasses is an extremely common BBQ sauce ingredient. This is why yankees shouldn't be allowed near a grill.
