Thanks Phly, you da man. Any predictions on the UConn/OSU game?

"Under new head coach Brad Underwood, the Oklahoma State Cowboys have won their first three games of the season. Yet, they have not faced competition quite as good as the Connecticut Huskies.

UConn head coach Kevin Ollie’s team has not looked good so far. After three games, they’re sitting at 1-2, with losses to Wagner and Northeastern. But Loyola Marymount finally gave the Huskies their first win, 65-62, back on November 17."

I'm going with the Cowboys.

I'm w you. I feel like the cowboys will win and set up a pretty good match up w us ..of course given that we beat Chaminade and I think we will. Should be a fun couple of days.

There's an easily accessible printable bracket on the Maui site.

After further review, the field isn't as strong as we once thought. Just a lot of name teams. Wisconsin already beaten by an inferior opponent. UConn started 0-2. I suspect this comes down to us and Oregon, which will be tough with them at full strength. But at the end of the day this is ours to lose.

Can't seem to find a bracket for Maui. Plenty of good teams involved.

UNC
UConn
Wisconsin
Tennessee
Oklahoma State
Georgetown
Oregon
Chaminade

Anybody find a bracket?

Yep, it should. I learned a very long time ago to never take any game for granted. But assuming we beat Chaminade, we face the winner of the OSU/UConn game.

Yes, UConn has started slow and against weak competition, but they're UConn. Nuff said. OSU has played a weak schedule so far but they've handled everyone easily. They have 3 guys averaging double digits. Looks like the guy that stirs their drink is Jawun Evans, who leads the team in points with 23 PPG and in assists with 6.3 APG. His matchup with Joel should be the telling factor.

Jawun Evans is a really good point guard. It would be fun to watch him and Joel square off but Joel would ultimately eat him up. Not discounting Chaminade, but our next game, either against uconn or the cowboys, will be a nice test.

I would take Oregon if Brooks plays, though it could be the Badgers for sure.
Disagree. Oregon is woefully overrated based on basically just a hugely weak conference last year. They strike me as no threat at all with Brooks or without
