That's what I call them. Sometimes a brand will be so popular it will become the name of the item. Another example is Jello.
What you call these?
I take the THN approach to this one, and use the most famous brand name... Kleenex. Unlike soda (or tonic, or pop, or soft drinks, or carbonated beverages, or whatever the hell you guys call them other than Cokes) I don't think there is any difference between a Kleenex brand tissue and a... well I can't even name any other brands so that sort of proves my point right there.
I really don't understand that one. @TarHeelNation11 keeps trying to justify it, but he fails miserably. Personally, if someone tells me they are going to get some coke I expect them to come back with an 8 ball.
No I don't think Coke has enough market share to be deemed one....Like coke?

I probably interchange saying Kleenex or tissues. But I NEVER, EVER call all sodas "cokes". Coke is a cola; not all sodas are colas for gawds sake.

Ok, I guess I need to clarify what I'm looking for. I was referring to the two circular objects that are half covered. I'm limited in my search options at work and that was the best picture I could post without getting fired.
