Remember that one time when Roy had the perimeter defenders fight over the top of screens instead of going under and having the big man step out? I think it was Duke, if memory serves.

Any chance Roy decides tonight to not double the post and keep coverage on the shooters waiting for a kick out? My guess is that Roy continues to double and leaves the 3 open. Seems like a recipe for disaster against Wisky. Sure would be fun to see us throw a curve ball at Wisconsin though.

I know. I think this is the key to the game right here.

On most of what I've seen/read previewing the game the "experts" have asked if Carolina will be quick enough on the double to force Kaminsky into bad shots. They all are assuming the double team is the no brainer decision (not sure if that's because they believe it is more effective, or they think Roy believes it's more effective). Personally, I'm terrified of the thought of JP or Justin crashing down to help the big man with Kaminsky, and having him kick it out to a wide open Hayes or Dekker for 3. Let Brice/Joel/Kennedy/Isaiah or whoever is on Frank the Tank guard him man up. Let Kaminsky get his 20-25 pts. Just please don't let Wiscy go 11/15 from 3 because they get a ton of wide open kick outs.

The experts are assuming it because thats what Roy always does. Just like Roy always switches on the high picks.

Except that one game when he didn't. Hopefully the same happens tonight and Roy does the unexpected.

If we double down on kaminski or help on the driver, we'll lose by 10+ points. They will kill us by the 3 if given the chance. I hope Roy doesn't do this but he's not one to change his philosophy.

And we double and Kaminsky kicks out for a wide open 3.

Sigh.

Thoroughly UN impressed with Frank. Slow and ploding he scores a lot from the FT line. Would not touch him in the draft.

Yep. He is a poor man's Adam Morrison. Or an average European league player.
