I’ve found a couple of starting words that work pretty well by using very common letters. Being a diehard NYT cruciverbalist helps in seeing common letter combinations. I love these wordles, they’re challenging. When you’re nearing 70, brain exercise is a good thing. I’m sure one will get me eventually, probably tomorrow.

Crane, followed by sloth, is supposed to be the best words to start with. There's a guy on YouTube that has developed some mathematical equation to show that.
