I believe we are getting tid we are quietly confident
#2 in the team rankings according to ESPN.
This could go down as the most important recruiting class in Carolina football history. To have a great team, you need to have a two deep rotation that's mostly composed of four and five star level talent. This 2021 class currently has 12 guys that are four stars are higher. That number could easily move to 14 or 15. And several of the 3 star guys look like they could end up being contributors. This class could end up filling out 18 or more key spots on the depth chart with really talented guys.
The 2020 class had 9 guys who were four stars or higher. 2018 and 2019 had ten combined. When the 2021 class are freshman we could have close to 35 four star or higher ranked players on the field. If guys go pro after three years it could be fewer though.
If Mack brings in another class of this caliber, then it could be 40+ four star players on the roster for 2022 (Sam's senior year). That's a full depth chart of four and five star level recruits. That's what it takes to win a national championship.

And others have joined him. An 11th change of heart? That would be unfortunate.
Or UNC change of heart? What Ive seen with Roy and Mack sometimes they make the decision for the kids. No sources on this just possing another possibility.
That's the rumor on the other board. No concrete info on who the other player could be?
Something seems a little odd here. Just not sure what to think about this situation.
We tend to forget these guys are still teenagers. Kids are funny sometimes. That's why nothing is 100% in recruiting.
SC will be lucky to win two games without the non-conference schedule. Don't see Muschamp lasting after this year. If he picks SC tomorrow, Dre' and UNC won't stop recruiting him.
We’re now at 8% with Wilson according to CB picks. We were 100% a week ago. Something must have gone terribly wrong. I could see it if he’d decided to go to Georgia or PSU, but SC?! Their program is in disarray and their coach is on the hot seat. Why anyone who didn’t grow up a SC fan would go there is beyond me.
One of the most ignorant things I've ever seen. People can go to work every day,they can go out to eat at a restaurant,go to beaches and concerts but a kid can't put a mask on and visit a school in what is one of the most important decisions in his or her life.
Congrats, we will see how it all works out in 2023 providing he stays there and we don't meet in any playoffs before then.
It kinda helped us early on because some of our early commitments had big offers we really didn't have to deal with, but Taylor, TID, it would help immensely to get them on campus.
Could only be a couple reasons why we would've backed off. And it's really not worth speculating on at this point.
I love how the recruits are recruiting for the team. They seem genuinely interested in signing the most talent possible and let them earn the time on the playing field. It is exciting watching the football program show its potential once again. Fedora seemed like a nice guy but Mack is showing us how to build a true powerhouse program and it’s fun to watch. Can’t wait to watch this talent hit the field
OLB Trevion Stevenson decommitted from Pitt and a crystal ball pick for Carolina just came in from Brian Dohn. Stevenson plays at Phoebus High School in Virginia.
Will be tough to get him out of his home city but we've got some time to work on him.
