Bacot has changed this season, or should I say bought in a little more in my opinion. He wasn’t really targeted tonight against Wake. Someone with more basketball IQ can probably explain why but I’m sure it had to do mostly the D they were running and RJ got hot. If this were earlier in the year he wouldn’t have handled this game too well I don’t think. Tonight I thought he stayed engaged and active (like he has over this run). He played great D. How many seal/pin down blocks on the defender did he have to allow an easy baskets? It’s been a long time since we’ve seen guards consistently just walk in for layups. EC’s speed and spacing have a lot to do with that but Bacot has been a big helper.
