What say the OOTB'ers?

Ok, we're told 12 people have walked on the surface of the moon. All Americans, and all between 1969-1972. Why haven't other countries been their. After all it was a race between the Americans and the Russians, so why didn't the Russians do it just to say "what you can do, we can do better".?

Do you give any credence to conspiracy theorist when they bring up the following

We could never go to the moon, because it's impossible to send a man through the Van Allen beltsWe could never go to the moon because it would take an absurd amount of energy to keep the astronauts warmWe could never go to the moon because they couldn't take enough oxygen. The president couldn't have made a phone call to Neil Armstrong on the moon.We couldn't have broadcast footage live from the moon. The flag waved in the wind when they put it on the "moon" and there's no wind on the moon.It would have been easier and less expensive to use a sound stage on earth, so that's what they did.

The ship was designed to reflect the particles. Nasa knows math

Insulation, space age insulation. Like the kind they developed...for....uh well....space travel. Same technology keeps hunters' feet warm

We could never go to the moon because they couldn't take enough oxygen.

Compress it to liquid and it takes up very little room

The president couldn't have made a phone call to Neil Armstrong on the moon.

Uhhh radio and satellites

We couldn't have broadcast footage live from the moon.

The flag waved in the wind when they put it on the "moon" and there's no wind on the moon.

Lol i mean come on. If you're gonna fake it u do it in a studio where some dumbass leaves the door open and a breeze blows the flag? Look, theres VERY LITTLE GRAVITY ON THE MOON! DUHHHHH!!!!! So when they twisted the flag pole the flag extended and rippled like it does on earth but it took longer to settle cause.....THERES VERY LITTLE GRAVITY ON THE MOON!! DUHHHHH!!!! (The flag eventually did settle and go limp)

It would have been easier and less expensive to use a sound stage on earth, so that's what they did.

So they used a stage with incredible special effects but they allowed the flag to be blown by a breeze and they didnt show any stars. Gotcha.

Kudos though for not using the "why werent there any stars on the broadcast???!!!" (Stars dont give off enough light to show up on their cameras)

NOPE.

Actually, NASA engineers were likely more concerned about keeping astronauts cool, not warm. The lunar surface during "moon days" can reach 253 degrees Fahrenheit.

The flags never went limp due to the fact they were supported by horizontal bars. The only "wind" they encountered was when the ascent stage of the lunar module blasted off to rendezvous with the orbiting command module.

Of course we went to the moon. I know 'cause I saw it on TV.
