I know, I know...
Believe me, I have no conflict with the knowledge that college athletes are not really students. I've never considered them to be the same thing.
I can't even tie a square knot, let alone figure out what makes a C square.
I didn't get to watch the game (couldn't get out of work today... ). Anyway, I saw the Felton highlight slam to end the game. I'm guessing Roy didn't like that...
Because he prefers the classy non "in your face" way right? I understand that, but I'm not complaining that Jalek postered someone, considering what happened to Manley.
Exactly, however I liked it. I plan to watch the game later today, so maybe it wasn't a big deal. Just knowing Roy, he probably didn't think it was a classy way to end the game especially considering who the opposing coach was.
It wasn't classy, and I'm sure Roy wasn't happy about it.
That said, I loved it because I'd like to see a little more "nasty" on our team than Roy generally wants to see.
Happens at every school.
When all that shit hit the fans a few years ago, I remember one sports analyst saying something like: "that sound you hear is fax machines at every power5 school", meaning that all those other schools were busy shredding imcriminating evidence while the NCAA was investing UNC.
Yeah that was a bitch move by Travis.
There have been a lot of Heels fans for all the road/neutral games I've been to over the past few years. Seems like the fan support is better on the road than in the Dean Dome sometimes.
Speaks to three things:
1. Obviously, Carolina basketball is a big brand and attracts folks from all over who have no ties to the school or state.
2. It speaks to how good of a school Carolina is. I know of classmates from my time in UNC who took jobs in Denver, San Francisco, Oklahoma, Tampa, New York, etc. Our alumni base gets real spread out.
3. People avoid the Triangle area like the plague once they leave school, in terms of living. Basketball attendance on a Wednesday is always going to struggle because a lot of our fans come from further away than just Raleigh or Durham.
That's cool for Joel. Here's hoping he can make it 3 in a row!

I'm watching the Above The Rim telecast on WatchESPN. It's pretty cool - no announcers, and you can hear the players and coaches.
Would be a great thanksgiving treat if they lost but you know that won't happen.
I don't even waste my time watching those douches play. Not gonna ruin my day with that crap.
Maybe he could talk about himself a little bit more. Or rafting or something. I mean it's not like anybody wants to hear about the game amiright?

For whatever reason Kennys play has been surprising to me. If he brings it like this (on the O end I KNOW what he’s capable of on D) then this is gonna be exciting down the stretch. Trying to envision what we look like w Cam in a few weeks.
