Back in 79 or 80, the final score of the famous first half slowdown game was 47-40. We’ve already hit that score with about 2 minutes left in the first half.

Not too shabby considering everything. Keep driving to the basket and draw blocking fouls!

Williams rushed it. Had time to compose himself. Though to do that though. Decent finish to the half. Need to withstand the obligatory first 5 minute onslaught from Duke and we may have a chance.

OTOH, we made a bunch of threes and are still down.

We are playing as well as we possibly can, or at least playing at like ~95% best we can, and we're still down by 4 at the half :/

Nah, we could do a much better job of denying the ball into the paint instead of giving up all the easy dunks and layups we gave up to Bagley and Carter.

If nothing else, just hack them and at least make them hit the free throws.

Maybe, just not sure how. If we pressure we'll just get blown by and then they will dish. No one we have except for Manley is big enough to deny them down low and he is such a liability if they draw him out at all. Now, hacking them is an option. Maybe the best one. However, that puts them in the bonus where any foul leads to FTs from their good shooters.

I think we'll see a lot of Theo crashing down and trying to pick off the pass down low or at least double down on whoever the pass goes to.

I'd like to see Roy come out with full court pressure and try to create as many turnovers as possible before they can even get the ball down low.

Our guards have got to keep driving and looking for those late passes. Bagley and Carter are leaving all kinds of passing lanes open.

What an awesome run right there.
