Women's soccer = totally, completely, 100% different scenario. Even today. Try again.Mia Hamm says hi.

Nope not trying again because I hate soccer anyway!Women's soccer = totally, completely, 100% different scenario. Even today. Try again.
Then stfu because it doesn't concern you?Nope not trying again because I hate soccer anyway!
Tell Sloan I say "what up" back!Tell her I said hi back.
Translation: I don't care about women's sports, so even though college has worked for our world cup winning USWNT I'm going to ignore it. I pay attention to men's soccer and since the USMNT sucks we should get rid of the college system because we might suck less without it.Women's soccer = totally, completely, 100% different scenario. You're an angry elf aren't you? Then stfu because it doesn't concern you?
No. Translation: My name is @tarheel0910 and I don't know what the fukk I'm talking about, so I don't realize that women's soccer is in a totally different place than men's soccer. I also don't realize that men's soccer, worldwide, has a 100x better system for identifying and developing talented players from the age of 10 or younger, thus why foreign players are always more advanced than our U.S. players (unless said players go play overseas at a young age like Christian Pulisic.) I also don't understand that because of this lack of talent development setup, worldwide, for the women's game, college soccer is a great development league for women of American and foreign descent. I also don't realize that, like in most women's sports, there's not really a great post-college professional opportunity for women in soccer. There are leagues in every country, but they receive virtually no TV coverage or money, limited fan interest in other countries, and they pay very little, so they're not desirable. This makes college an even better option for women soccer players because it gives them education as a fallback.Translation: I don't care about women's sports, so even though college has worked for our world cup winning USWNT I'm going to ignore it. That movie is way overrated, except for Zooey Deschanel. You're an angry elf aren't you?
Since you are done with this convo, soccer still sucks.No. Translation: My name is @tarheel0910 and I don't know what the fukk I'm talking about, so I don't realize that women's soccer is in a totally different place than men's soccer. Women's soccer is an entirely different animal than men's soccer. I'm done with this conversation.

You mentioned that.Since you are done with this convo, soccer still sucks.
Oh, sorry.You mentioned that.

We'd develop better soccer players if anyone GAF about soccer in this country. Since the chance at success, and money to be made, are better in the 4 major sports - this "problem" is unable to be fixed. Are you saying we'd develop better soccer players if we didn't play soccer?
You guys are still talking about the wrong sport. This is America, and this is a real football thread.
are better in the 4 major sports
.
Please tell me you're not counting hockey. No one cares about that shit except for a handful of yanks.
The Huskers are a perennial bowling powerhouse, thought you would like to know.If we're considering college baseball a "major" college sport, then NHL is a major pro sport. Both regional.
But obviously if we're being real... there's two major sports in both pros and college, and that's football and basketball. Hockey and baseball are in the next tier, and then soccer/lax/nascar/etc. are in the 3rd tier. Bass fishing is it's own bottom tier, sucks State.

I have seen it on TVYou forgot about video gaming. Apparently that's a hot new sport that some people take very seriously.
Exactly.Don't want to hear shit? Try not to lose 59-7. That might help things a little.
That's a laugh, coming from one of the most arrogant, hypocritical posters on the board.Right? The hypocrisy from so many on this board (and in our fanbase in general) is amazing.
One example: What do we always see on the basketball board? We see a huge resistance about ever singling out a specific player's bad play. It's an absolute no-no to ever point out Player X played terrible and cost us the game....even if it's true. But those same folks that are so against that, will come on to the football board and cuss out individual players, coaches, the fans, everything under the sun.
I hate the arrogance so many of our fans have that as long as basketball is doing well, everything is hunky dory. Sorry... I like ALL Carolina sports. When it's basketball season, I'll care about basketball. Right now, it's football season.

Don't be obtuse, it has nothing to do with "being right". Of course, we'd all love for Fed to win them all and go down as the greatest coach to ever coach the game. But that isn't going to happen, is it. I'd even settle for him being a very good coach. But that isn't the case either. I simply want the ineptitude to end ASAP. Why prolong the inevitable? It may be funny but it's mostly true. Criticizing the play of a bball player or anything Roy does on Radar has always been synonymous with bad-mouthing the kid or coach in the eyes of the fan police on radar. They just cannot see the difference in the criticism and can't stand it. The same standard is not held up on the free football board.
I'm all for letting you get it out of your system, however. I just happen to think some of you are nuts to pull for us to actually lose games so you can say you were right on a message board. I'd prefer Larry win them all and go down as the greatest coach to ever coach the game. I could never pull against the school. Not ever.
Are someone's itty bitty feelings hurt? GFY!Yup. @Archer2 is the “worst type of ‘fan’.” See what I did there?
Pulling for our team to lose bc you don’t like the coach. GFY douche.

Perhaps the most intelligent thing I've seen you post.Hahahahahahbahahahaha

Great, now I've got to do math at 9:00 at night.@Archer2 if you were twice as smart as you are, you’d be half as smart as you think you are.

Are you high? I would've LOVED IT. We all would have.I don't know about pulling against the Heels but I swear if UNC had hired Spurrier, I would've stopped watching them until that cork-soaker was gone.
