Jimbo rips Saban: Some people think they're God
Jimbo Fisher delivered a fiery rebuttal to Nick Saban's comments from Wednesday night that Texas A&M "bought every player" in its vaunted 2022 recruiting class, calling Saban's comments "despicable" numerous times in a news conference.
Just came across this story a few minutes ago. I don’t think anyone who follows college football believes that Saban has ran a clean program. Glad to see another high profile coach calling him out.
I had already read it because this seems to keep coming up and wondered if something was new - their wasn't other than responding to Saban complaining, which come to think of it isn't new. Best part was the backdoor comments by Jimbo where he says he worked with Bobby Bowden and learned what to do and he'd worked with others (meaning Saban) and learned not what to do. And he basically dares them to go investigate Saban. Kinda confirms what most of us have always thought.

Yeah, not as much money in Alabama as there is in other SEC states.
mark it down, guys are going to come out of the shadows now and say “alabama offered me x in 1990”…they probably went somewhere else, auburn, fsu, etc and got more.
again, he was speaking at an event in birmingham, so he knew exactly what kind of crowd he was entertaining.
Wish someone would ask him if he kept count of the amount that was paid out before the rules changed or was it all off the books.

the future of college sports? Just use your imagination a little.
Too many additional games added. 8-12 teams is probably what it ends up at. What's going to be interesting is to see what happens to bowl games. They will become even more pointless with two super conferences.
These guys are getting paid NIL money now... they could extend the season and # of gms, fans and TV will keep showing up.
Pro players who make millions had issues with one more game. College would never go for that. It would basically be two seasons.
the drip on mack continues to be impressive…if we fans could purchase things like this and have the money float through the a.d., i can’t imagine the impact.
