OOTB's Political Thread . ..

She isn't wrong. Unless a race is particularly close we should know, through a count, by early tomorrow morning at the latest. The tweet in response to the video has now been proven incorrect.
okay?

We can't stop the credits from rolling, by the way.

I'm sure there will always be some outlet for you to throw a hissy-fit and blame other people for disrupting things that you claim you don't really care about because your life is gravy.

I don’t get it. Maybe try answering my question.

Why are some people so concerned with some others’ trust in elections.

thanks.

Are you ready for it? You sound ready for it.
If one group doesn't get their way, they will refuse to accept the results. There are countless ways to refuse, or question, or cast 1000 different kinds of doubt on the outcome.

Ready for what?

Refusing to "accept the results" has been going on long before now. Are you saying this is a new phenomena?

Why do I have to answer that last question? I didn't say Americans are going out fighting with each other.

The degree of how they accept it is obviously changing.

Get ready libs. It won't be long till your democracy is over. I can see it now, install Trump as Speaker, impeach Biden and Harris and guess who's up? We've been planning this takeover for 2 years now. You guys better move to Ukraine, Afghanistan, or somewhere else now. Delta is ready when you are.

No it isn't, you just hear about it more because every idiot has a platform these days with social media.

People complaining about fraudulent elections is not even close to new, the only difference is they were probably much more justified in elections of say the 1800s.

Trust me, we're all better off if no one in Mercer County gets their voice heard.

But not sure why you're upset about this, Mercer County is super liberal. So once again, the Dems getting screwed in NJ. Rand's blue balls continue.

It’s not just about who these episodes favor. It’s the systems in place. Shit is broken. Why would either losing side trust and respect the outcomes with shit like this happening. If the GOP takes control, I guarantee I won’t be calling liberal doubters insurrectionist.

Fair enough... there will be consequences for those idiots and their platforms. I dunno what that will be, of course.

I never said "ensuing chaos" did I?

You’re running from your own sentiment you expressed here - that doomsday was upon us because Trump tricked everyone into believing 2020 was rigged. You’ve been harping on this for some time. Reread the thread if you’re struggling to remember

I never said "ensuing chaos" did I?
You said...
The movie is already over, it's just taking a while for all of the credits to roll. Our elections can no longer be trusted. Americans have willingly chosen to end the whole experiment. They're going out fighting with each other.
Am I not allowed to use chaos to describe how you laid that out? Did you mean something else?

Are you ready for all of the fighting that will ensue?

You're partly correct, but it's hard to deny that there isn't an increase in candidates that are making it a major part of their platform. There are literally dozens, if not hundreds, of candidates that are making conspiracy theories front and center.

You can use whatever word you want. But, don't claim that I used it.

If you want to believe that Americans aren't fighting, you can believe that, too.

I'm definitely "ready" for whatever happens- good, bad or otherwise.

And, all of that will have consequences.

Thanks for letting me use the words I want. Now I'll wait for you to show me where I claimed you used the word chaos. Clearly that was my choice of wording to describe your prediction of Americans fighting. And it describes pretty well what you said.

Are you ready for all the ensuing chaos you've predicted?

Don't question him, he's got a huge pecker and isn't afraid to use it.

Typical, lib throwing White Claws, lol.
Lib ain't gonna throw something tasty at Cruz that would be a waste... if you're gonna throw at trash, throw some trash - like a White Claw (or corn husker bumpkin).

She doesn't mention the "close" part. That's the problem.

And what in the tweet from Vladek was incorrect? Certain key states start counting late, including lots of mail-ins. Mich, Penn, Wisc they don't even begin opening mail ballots til election day... then gotta do all the verification, etc.

your link says: PA
At 7 a.m. on Election Day, but the votes may not be recorded or published until after the polls close. Sounds like they can open to verify, but can't record the vote?

He said many, it's actually not that many. And which key state? I'm not sure which ones would be considered key to the survival of our democracy.
