OOTB's Political Thread . ..

Don't question him, he's got a huge pecker and isn't afraid to use it.
I never even said that. I said "I don't have a needle dick." You and @UNC '92 have a penchant for embellishing what I say. But, you're right, I have a huge penis. I've never been afraid to use it, but I have been very careful when and where I use it.

If only there was someone out there that doesn't find you detestable so that you could use it.

After all these years! Accusing me of embellishment? I just don't know what to say. I'm shocked.

My guess is the only reason you've ever used it is because they wanted you to STFU with your useless, psychobabble drivel.

He said many, it's actually not that many. And which key state? I'm not sure which ones would be considered key to the survival of our democracy.
So she fails to mention "close", he points out that republican-based legislation results in slower processing, and that makes you okay with party leaders and party media mouths saying slow counting is "suspicious"?

British view of the election.
" Yes, they are pushing the “your vote matters” messaging really hard with this one, despite the fact that no votes have mattered less in the history of US democracy.
2020 was the most brazenly rigged Presidential election I have ever seen – Joe Biden shattering the votes received record by 14 million votes is absurd – and it looks like these midterms will follow the same playbook. [You can read the detail report on that here.]
In the run up to the 2020 election, news outlets all over the Western world were talking about mail-in ballots being safe (they’re not, they’re the easiest ballots to cheat with), while also predicting “it’s gonna look like Trump has won, then he will lose”, and that counting the votes will take a much longer time than usual.
It was an obvious set-up for a rigged election – and the same is happening now."

The link in your article says:
"The U.S. has many safeguards protecting voting equipment, so any actual hack would probably be localized, quickly detected and unlikely to affect final results."

Systems aren't perfect, hence all the process audits, machine audits and hand-recounts.
It's Politico. I am in no way, shape or form validating them. I am just pointing out the utter hypocrisy of the democrat media.

Party media? Shocking! You didn't know that both party's media have already done this?

You cannot bosides the voter fraud accusations and "suspicions" repubs have been stirring up before he election even started.

Well the voter ID debate to me is a good jump off point here. I'm actually not opposed to voter IDs in principle. I simply don't trust the (mostly) red states implementing them as a way to introduce an undue burden on poorer populations who may not have ID, may not have time to get one, or may not understand the process of getting one. It's a way to place limits on people.

I would accept a law that required people to show ID but also gave out free voter ID cards to everyone who's registered. They do that in Europe all the time.
This is one of the most insulting statements about the voting public that one could make. Most states have driver's licenses that serve perfectly well for ID. If one can't afford to get a license, give them a state ID and pay for it by raising everyone's driver's license cost by 20 bucks or something. Done. Paid for. The rest of that is just flat out Dem fearmongering. Don't have time? Don't understand the process? Are you kidding me?

Why don't you just go ahead and vote for these same really busy, yet really stupid people?

Kari Lake just said she's going to "reform the media" in Arizona. Haha! That's one crazy bitch!

Who cares what the damned British think???

Not sure. Should at least be entertaining watching her try to reform the Arizona media, whatever that means.
I don't know what she specifically means, but if there's any one aspect of our lives that unquestionably needs reforming, it's the media. When I take over, I'll do that even before I kill all the lawyers.

This guy, @carolinablue34 . He loves all things European.

They have better functioning parliamentary systems than we do. Except the French lol.

But that wouldn’t happen here so my suggestions are as follows: institute ranked choice voting in every state, make Election Day a national holiday, and get rid of the primary system altogether. That and instead of the Secretary of State’s oversee election processes, institute an independent commission board appointed by two thirds of the legislature.

ETA this happens every election, it just isn't a big deal when races aren't close.
Which counties are doing that? Wouldn't that just be the county, or counties, Philadelphia is in? Wasn't that procedure in place for the last few years or at least ever since all the shenanigans they had in Philly at the voting booth in 2020? Is there a procedure like this for every election?

None of that will happen because we will have a dictatorship after today. Haven't you heard?
