OOTB's Political Thread . ..

Wow . . that really means something.

Mr. Lyles has been on this board for over 12 years . . and you're just now getting around to complaining of his presence and contributions . . ? Why . . ?

He has most certainly not been poasting for 12 years and I am not complaining about his presence nor his contributions. In fact, I find him and his prose to be some of the most entertaining material on dis here board.

How do you know this . . ?

Cause I have been here for more than 12 years and there is no way I would forget anyone who poasts like this guy.

He could have been lurking though- that would fit.

Billy don't waste your time. His trailer park hasn't had WIFI that long.

Correct. We just run Cat5 cables.

I can promise you I have had high speed internet service much longer than it has been in Yadkinville though. Hell, you hillbillies just got indoor plumbing last year when I upgraded the store in hopes for a higher caliber of customer.

Still waiting for that investment to pay off.

Trudeau makes 45 look like the pussy he really is, afraid of stairs, rain and blood . . . Mr. Tough Guy Trump ? LMFAO @ this assclown.

I'm sorry, it's the Marine Corps birthday AND the 100th anniversary of the end of WWI. You get off your lazy ass and get to the f-ing ceremony if there's a hurricane or snowstorm.

And, his devoted believers will excuse it.

I'd forgotten that it was the century anniversary of the end of WWI. Safe to say there are no longer any vets still alive. Personally, I don't really care about commemorating that stuff. D-Day, December 7th, even 9-11... If you're aware of history, you know what happened and you know the dates every day of your life. If it's considered a disrespectful gesture, so be it. Maybe fewer people will get worked up when players kneel during the Anthem. They have their reasons for doing that, too.

This just makes you look crazy, dude. You can not like that he didn't attend, but to suggest that he should have gone there over life-threatening conditions is just a little too much.

life-threatening conditions??? He didn't want his comb over to get wet. You guys will excuse anything for this low life.

Hurricanes and snowstorms aren't life-threatening conditions? I live in Florida, so I know all about Hurricanes, and while I don't know much about snowstorms, I know they can be deadly.

I'll always respect the men who were forced to fight, but I won't respect the wars. I was lucky as my father had an ulcer and didn't get conscripted.

There is a long list of his poasts that make him look crazy. In fact, at this point he is just reinforcing the obvious.

That's the point you dumb ass. What "life-threatening conditions" kept him away??

I can agree on that. I was drafted during Vietnam and I didn;t support the war but I served anyway because my country asked me to. Back then they were called conservatives, now they are called leftist.

Your "country" didn't ask you. The government forced you... no choice.

I have no ill-will toward anybody that Dodges the draft. Unless they grow up and get in government and then send other kids off to do what they didn't want to do. Dick Cheney, is a great example of that. I also respect the men who actually fought and died. But I question the motive of the government that sent them to die and kill other people.

The ignore function is for the weak and insecure. No doubt it is extensively utilized by @uncboy10

The 'ignore' function is there for those so that don't have to run & cry to the moderators for help to solve a problem they could have solved themselves . . it's why Rivals gave them that option. Maybe, you should blame Rivals for that "weak & insecure" option . .

Jus' saying' . .

I will have to take your word on that as I wouldn't know anything about running to the mods. I prefer to just handle matters myself. The only time I can remember ever speaking with a mod about a particular poaster was when OldSchool was being a dick to one of the regulars and I had to stand up for that regular.

lol what’s actually insecure is creating multiple accounts or stalking people on the board that clearly have no interest in engaging with you...

Not to mention trying to pick fights from behind a keyboard... lol that’s like the epitome of insecurity and stupidity.

You mean the same people who manage the San Fran homeless problem are having a hard time managing forests?

That's a shock.

I don’t have a problem with that.

Hey @NoleSoup4U - are y'all gonna cover tonight? Somebody gave me $110 to bet FSU and I am not sure whether or not to pass that on to the book.

I don't remember that . . so, I'll take your word for it, BTW, which poster was it you stood up for . . ?

I don't even know what the spread is and I would say "no". We're a weak team mentally, and it's going to be f'ing cold up there tonight. I wouldn't be surprised to see this team quit for the third time in a row. If ND can get up by a couple TDs early, this is going to be over quick. I don't even know if I want to watch the game at this point.

that’s irrelevant to his tweet...as usual, with you.

His tweets are quickly becoming irrelevant . . not that they ever were anyway. What a waste of a human being he has become . . not only are the folks on OOTB laughing at him, we are joined by the world.
