dook and yukensucky can win the recruiting titles. Roy just continues to win ACC Regular Season Championships, National Championships and Final Four appearances. We are now back on our recruiting game?! Uh Oh!!!
I always think people are carrying. Rarely called.
Good way for a ref to earn his payoff for altering the outcome or score of a game.
I am actually finding it quite funny if Jared is a troll that name dropped a real person to get raider to expose himself as a fraud with info. LolI also feel like the national "experts" would be jumping all over this if Davis were actually that close to committing. If it weren't for our regulars, like Clint, dadika, and raider, I would be very suspicious of our new friend Jared being a classic Trojan horse style troll. I hope that is not the case and we have another source of really good Intel.
Until he, or any other recruit, actually commits, I will remain hopefully optimistic.
And that new prediction is from everyone's favorite EVAN DANIELS.
Lol,Hey this is my first time posting here, but just got word from one of my good friends that is one of the managers on the unc basketball team that Rj Davis has committed to unc. I am 110% sure of this he just talked to Hubert Davis who told them! He didnt say when he would announce, but he is committed to UNC. Does this take them out of the Bryce Thompson sweepstakes?

I assume X Johnson will test the waters next draft. Do Pitt fans think he is gone? Not sure where he is ranked on draft boards.I hope so, because he'd be a great successor to Xavier Johnson
the question is will coach still accept Zaire given all the info from people on this board including myself who all claim that Bryce is more than likely coming. Would have loved to break the news on RJ but I got it a full 2 hrs after the fact...not complaining it's nice to have people on here who can validate your info. But the question now becomes.. . does Roy take Zaire if he wants to come if we also get Bryce as expected at this point?
Aight Evan Daniels Cb'd Davis to UNC. I believe yinz.
With Davis committing we have 1 spot open unless Bacot is OAD.Roy’s taking Ziaire. There’s no question about it.
We have 6 spots open. With Davis committing we’ve got two spots left meaning two of Thompson, Walton, Williams. If Williams doesn’t come we can also pursue a top SF grad transfer.
I know there are several "gurus" here who have been saying Cade is UNC-bound for a while.Plenty of discussions about taking both Davis and Thompson but with a Davis commitment, I'm assuming Cade to UNC is pulled off of life support and officially declared dead?
With Davis committing we have 1 spot open unless Bacot is OAD.
Which some of us expect, but isn't guaranteed. With Davis committing we have 1 spot open unless Bacot is OAD.
I didn't catch that. What was he referring to?I was a believer when Clint uses the word pristine, well before Evan’s CB pick.
We’re recruiting to take two more from what I can tell. Would take both Thompson and Williams. With Davis committing we have 1 spot open unless Bacot is OAD.
I don't believe in forcing someone out by recruiting for a ship not guaranteed to be open.
I didn't catch that. What was he referring to?
the cade ship has sailed he is probably okie state or ky bound. unless something drastic happens.I know there are several "gurus" here who have been saying Cade is UNC-bound for a while.
They could be right, of course. But you'd think at least some predictor would have gotten wind of that.
To the best of my recollection, there has never been a prediction of Cade to UNC.
For many months Cade has had double digit predictions. For a while they were 100% to Ok St. Now, with 17 predictions, there are 3 to UK - including Evan Daniels and Jerry Meyer. Which is to say that OK St fans should be nervous.
Still none to UNC.
If something strange happens and he wants to commit here, by all means find a scholarship for him. He's seriously good. But don't even think about holding a scholarship for him.
you dont have to believe me, but dont think I didnt notice that of all the people that leave nuggets you called me out... I have always said its second hand info and is not the 100% gospel except in the case of Francis I just happened to be in the right place at the right time while at late night... so why the hard on for me?Aight Evan Daniels Cb'd Davis to UNC. I got nothing but Love for you Raideryou dont have to believe me, but dont think I didnt notice that of all the people that leave nuggets you called me out... TTHR you are good around here man. That guy is the real joke.you dont have to believe me, but dont think I didnt notice that of all the people that leave nuggets you called me out... He will have every opportunity to compete for playing time.I'm surprised RJ Davis turned down a starting slot at Marquette and Pitt to backup for us. He must have major faith in Roy Williams developing him.
He is not very athletic, but the kid shoots lights out.
Disagree Steat.
Neither was Phil Ford, my all time favorite. Bottom line: he gets it done. His instincts on the court have a lot of similarities to Phil's. We all should hope that come Monday, we can add him to our recruiting haul, he can bring a dimensional aspect to next years group that we have been missing since our last championship run, and, depending on just how adept he is in acclimating to our system, can make our backcourt extremely good when you consider adding Love, this kid, and possibly Thompson.
Plug and play and not miss a beat. One would think that a backcourt with such players as those, added to what we already have, most likely would be devastating to opposing teams.
Kids that can handle and shoot..., that's the key that unlocks the great potential of teams we will put on the court for the foreseeable future. As regards Bryce Thompson and Ziaire Williams, Ziaire is the more important recruit, as we very much need a 3 that has some height and can handle and shoot the ball. Yes, Leaky can fit this position, however, we need 2 and Ziaire is the one that would best fit this slot.
We will get the clarity we all have been waiting for this coming week. Look for some kind of movement from the Ziaire camp as well.
Much like you, I'm skeptical of reports that "player A" is committing. I generally wait until the player actually commits before I believe it. TBS, we are at 71% on the crystal ball, including Evan Daniels' prediction for UNC, so we'll see. But it does look good.I also feel like the national "experts" would be jumping all over this if Davis were actually that close to committing. If it weren't for our regulars, like Clint, dadika, and raider, I would be very suspicious of our new friend Jared being a classic Trojan horse style troll. I figured you must have meant something along those lines because RJ is quite athletic. No, he isn't Cole Anthony athletic, but very few are. IF he comes to UNC, I think RJ will flourish in our uptempo system. What I meant by "very athletic" I was comparing him to Cole Anthony. I love the kid and think he will be a great player for UNC.

They can put on all the dog and pony shows they want but the reality is the Sooners aren't going to do much winning. They finished in the bottom half of the Big 12 last season. If their pitch is stay home,we'll put the ball in your hands and you can take 25+ shots a game like Trae Young that's fine but he isn't winning surrounded by a roster of 3 star players. Go look at their recruiting classes and tell me how they're going to win. The year Trae Young was there the NCAA gifted them a NCAA tournament birth to get him in the tournament only to watch them go home after 1 game. From the looks of Twitter, it seems OU put on a nice show for Bryce yesterday.
Believe it or not, there are still some kids out there who want to win, and who realize that basketball is a team sport.I'm surprised RJ Davis turned down a starting slot at Marquette and Pitt to backup for us. He must have major faith in Roy Williams developing him.
What I meant by "very athletic" I was comparing him to Cole Anthony. I love the kid and think he will be a great player for UNC.
It all boils down to whether or not he really meant what he said about wanting a family atmosphere and a chance to win a national championship. We shall see.CarolinaMagic, I agree 100 percent with your statement, just hope Bryce sees that.
We've had this conversation. Some say there are resources for this purpose. I don't know, but I'm operating on the assumption that if one of our guys can no longer play, his athletic scholarship can be freed up and he can still finish his schooling on some other kind of aid.I don't believe in forcing someone out by recruiting for a ship not guaranteed to be open.
Ahhh. Well if all you get is Clint talking about RJ's pristine hairdo, I don't see why anyone would pay for premium.RJ. This is another premium advertisement.
Hell, they put on a damn circus for him. Everything from box seats at the football game, basketball propaganda on the Jumbotron, and OKC Thunder being there. Can’t blame em thoFrom the looks of Twitter, it seems OU put on a nice show for Bryce yesterday.
