The question would seem to be how badly we want Bryce as a PG.
My guess is that Roy would be happy to have him in either guard capacity, but if Bryce is adamant about being a PG and then jumping to the NBA after a year, I don't see Roy rejecting RJ to keep room for Bryce. Since Roy may see Bryce more as SG, bringing both RJ and Bryce on board doesn't violate the notion that he won't be taking 3 PGs.
OTOH, if Bryce commits first, then I do see Roy less likely to take RJ
