That's useful information, but Bryce will be fine at SG, and can swing to PG if we need him to.

The question would seem to be how badly we want Bryce as a PG.

My guess is that Roy would be happy to have him in either guard capacity, but if Bryce is adamant about being a PG and then jumping to the NBA after a year, I don't see Roy rejecting RJ to keep room for Bryce. Since Roy may see Bryce more as SG, bringing both RJ and Bryce on board doesn't violate the notion that he won't be taking 3 PGs.

OTOH, if Bryce commits first, then I do see Roy less likely to take RJ

I am 110% sure of this he just talked to Hubert Davis who told them! He didnt say when he would announce, but he is committed to UNC. Does this take them out of the Bryce Thompson sweepstakes?

He's not really into recruiting that much like I am so he doesn't speculate. That's why I was asking in here. He just texted me and said we got a big commit. I thought it was Bryce Thompson at first since he told me Carolina had an assistant in very recently to visited him, but he told me it was RJ Davis so I wanted to know if they would be able to play together or if Roy would just take one, but he said today that they would take both! Just found out about forums like this so Id love to help out!

it would be of my opinion that if Zaire keeps playing around and doesn't pull the trigger there will be no room unless a kid voluntarily gives up a scholly; which is possible, but coach wont take it

Bryce and Caleb certainly start over RJ next season but the question is if Bryce sees it as too crowded now, especially since Cade hasn’t completely eliminated us yet.

My feel is this eliminated Bryce but I have no inside on it, just an opinion.

its second hand info so I am.never 100% confident but our staff is pretty confident so there is that I am cautiously optimistic so I am going with 65-70% chance of us getting bryce

To keep it real, that woiuld kinda suck. No Zaire would leave us with only Leaky (as a junior) at the 3 next season --- not the ideal depth situation.
