So mostly OL/DL and other defensive recruits going forward?
Are we recruiting Yousef Mugharbil(6-4, 304# OT) hard? Seems we’ve offered and he’s a NC lad.
Would love to see Jahvaree Ritzie and Raneiria Dillworth commit to the Heels soon.

Mugharbil has had an offer for sometime. He has not given a short list, and I'm not sure anybody has a clear idea of just which 3 or 4 schools sit best with him.
We are in better shape with the OTs we are interested in than with the OGs we've offered.
We need a top DT, or 2, in this class. Page certainly is the guy we want most, but Tyleik Williams is a big deal too. We need to land at least one of those two. Ritzie could become a 295 pounder able to play both DE and DT very well.
I predict another commitment coming at some point in the future.

Heard we're about to get both him and his teammate.
If this were to happen the Heels would move to #2 recruiting class behind the ohio state. Might also bring a NCAA investigation to find out what in the Wide World of Sports in going on in Chapel Hill.
My gut says that with visits suspended, recruits like Dillworth and Ritzie who are UNC leans, will commit to us sooner than later.

They just don't understand how GREAT Mack is at this college football stuff.
We’ve got to prove it on the field first. But there’s no doubt that Mack’s wheelhouse is representing the University and recruiting.
he was great in the 90s when he took carolina football into the top ten nationally. logic dictates he's even better now, having learned from his successes and his mistakes. one of the things he learned going thru the wringer at texas was just how good he's got it at unc-chapel hill. recruits are obviously picking up on his excitement.
His love for the University is apparent, and his excitement for where he wants the program to be and what he wants to achieve is infectious.
Even the idiots running the NCAA know that Mack Brown is simply golden with people.
At this point it's not unreasonable to think that Mack can sustain this level of recruiting for another 2 or 3 years. A roster with this level of talent from top to bottom would be expected to compete for conference and national championships. We could be in for a wild ride

UNC's 2021 recruiting class is currently ranked fourth with 1,190 points. Clemson is third with 1,549 points. We wouldn't move up from our fourth place spot but we'd solidify that ranking and close the gap with the Tigers.

We are in unchartered territory for sure. If we ultimately end up in the top10, that would be beyond my wildest expectations.

Thought he was ready to commit but it's just a top 8.

Does he feel good about the new UGA OL coach and former Ole Miss HC Matt Luke? How does he feel about Mike Norvell and FSU OL coach Alex Atkins? He really liked Sam Pittman as UGA OL coach and may be drawn to him as HC.
Matt Luke is recruiting him hard as is Pittman and Ark. Brewster and UF also on him hard.
Yeah. I'd say we're in his top for along with Arkansas, Florida and Georgia. He's underrated but really started to blow up around the end of last year. One of if not the best OL in the state
Bateman could make good use of some potential hybrid type players like Steel. He sounds like a guy that could drift between playing some safety and some OLB
Steel is definitely that type of player. Butch Davis was excellent at finding those guys. Now Mack and Bateman are putting together the pieces for a nasty defense. At this rate, we should have accumulated enough talent on that side of the ball (within the next year or two) to at least shut down the Coastal
