Coronavirus

Any and all stickers.

The ONLY exception I'd make is a college one over the back windshield but:

- it has to be very dull. no mascots, nothing bright. something that says the school.
- that school needs to be at least a top 100 university or top 50 college. I'm not down with Central Missouri State sticker on the car.
You as grouchy about certain things as @gunslingerdick .
Are you sure you arent on of his accounts?

I do see some funny ones once in awhile though. There was one that said “Dad farted and we can’t get out.” Lol

I'm in awe when there is one like this and it is the sole sticker, all alone.

Who sees that sticker and says F-it, I'm sporting that.

So does my Ram's Club sticker fall under the exception?

Selfishly you left off c) be a spreader who gives it to others (and potentially help it mutate into something more serious),

Also there is d) deal with long-covid.

sorry pal, i'm more concerned about MY current and long term health and the value of my health to my family than i am others.

good friend of mine with the Durham sheriff's department, healthy, 44 years old, no pre-exisitings ... now has major heart complications post 2nd vaxx, will be on 2 different heart meds permanently. he almost died within 2 hours of the 2nd shot.

no thanks.

With the vaccine as available as it is, if a person get the virus it was their choice.
yep, and if a vaccinated person gets myocarditis, blood clots or any number of currently unknown side effects, it was their choice.

My understanding is that you can still catch Covid and spread it even after being fully vaccinated.
that is exactly right and has been proven over and over now. it's just hard for the sheeple to hear the truth when they have their heads so far up Fauci's ass.

Can almost guarantee you that wasn’t due to a covid shot. You talk about ‘sheeple’ you’re honestly the biggest one sometimes.

how can you guarantee that?? 2 hours after the vaxx his heart nearly explodes. pulse went from mid 70’s to 165 and wouldn’t drop. started having over 100 heart palpitations a minute after never having a single heart issue ever.

only a sheeple believes this was totally random. keep on sheepin!!

MAGA want Trump to have credit for producing the vaccine but don’t want to take it…..lol

As the article says, most people who contract it post-vaccine are asymptomatic - and thus less likely to spread.

If group A would stfu about the vaccine for five minutes then group B would probably be a lot more likely to take it.
So group B is refusing vaccines to troll the libs, or just dumb enough to only perceive something as right or wrong (good/bad) based on politics?

Republicans who got their news from OANN or Newsmax were generally more extreme in their beliefs around QAnon and in their refusal to get vaccinated than those who got their news from Fox News. Meanwhile, Fox News Republicans were often more in line with Republicans who got their news from other mainstream outlets. (FiveThirtyEight)

I don’t think that’s why people in group B are refusing the shot but I can’t lie, it is an added bonus.

A guy I know dad died after getting the shot. Ended up in Chapel Hill after having several strokes is what I was told. Roughly 5 weeks after getting the shot he was dead.

just a FWIW. I got both Pfizer shots, the second one not too long ago. On a recent routine visit to my heart doctor, it turns out I have developed Atrial Fibrillation (specifically Atrial Flutter), something I have never had the slightest indication of before. They immediately started me on a blood thinner because the biggest concern of the condition is that there is a greatly increased likelihood of a stroke. I strongly suspect the vaccine.

Thanks for good timing. I only see my heart doctor occasionally, and my last visit could easily have come before I was vaccinated, in which case I wouldn't have seen him again for quite a while unless I was having a problem. I had no idea that anything was amiss other than feeling very fatigued from time to time, which I thought nothing of. The doc said that was the AF doing that.

Some people who don't know as much as they want people to think they know, should probably stop pushing people to get vaccinated....and just stick with wanting people to think they know more than they do about relatively harmless shit.

Did your doctor say it was the vaccine that caused this? You could have had AFib for months without knowing it.

First, this is a huge correlation vs. causation thing.

Second, a protein antibody causing AFib (a condition that is pretty common by the way) is like a million times less likely than your habits when it comes to age, smoking, alcohol, weight, diet, exercise, stress levels, caffeine intake, family history, etc. etc. etc. Any decent cardiologist will be able to at least narrow down potential causes.

Third, as an FYI, they've been doing studies on vaccines causing AFib for years and years. This is because AFib is pretty common so naturally throughout the past 20 years or so when people get a vaccine then AFib they think it's the vaccine that caused it. Anthrax, Flu, Hep B, Polio, etc. have all had very specific studies done to see if that vaccine caused AFib in people who got vaccinated. The stats overwhelmingly have said no.

Sucks you have AFib. Take the blood thinners, cut back on the caffeine, quit smoking if you do, etc.

I like and agree with this part of your post. As far as the rest, thanks for the info and hopefully your health with improve with help from your doctor.

Why are they refusing the shot?

Refusing? That's an odd way to put it. They makes it sound like they're supposed to get it. I thought people got to make their own choices concerning their health. My body, my choice, right?

I can't speak for everyone who is "refusing" the shot. But me personally, I don't feel it's necessary. That's it. That's why I'm not getting the shot. Maybe others have different reasons. But based on what I've seen, I simply don't find it necessary. And I'm just not going to put something in my body to make others feel better. It's not my job to make you feel better, safer or anything else.

I have AFib. I didn't know it until I went for a regular Dr. appointment and my heartrate was about 180 BPM. It took them 3 days to get it under control with meds. but since then I have had no problem. My doctor thinks it came from steroids I had injected in my spine for a pinched nerve.

Thanks for the advice but first of all, did you seriously ask if my doctor said it was the vaccine? You know he couldn't have known that. He didn't ask if I was vaccinated and I didn't offer that I was because why ask him to tell me something he couldn't possibly determine? That's just asking for a bunch of medical dogma that I have no interest in subjecting myself to and that might ultimately prove to be flawed anyway. I have a number of reasons that I suspect the vaccine (including my reaction to the second shot which I mentioned here at the time and the onset of fatigue episodes coincident) and I am well aware of the usual factors contributing to the onset and aggravating the condition. The studies you mention are on other vaccines, not the ones in question. Furthermore, 'overwhelimingly' does not equal absolutely.

I'm not even saying that I wouldn't get vaccinated if I had it to do over again. My point is that, especially with the effect it's had on a number of hearts, some of us should just STFU and let people decide for themselves whether they get vaccinated.

Just curious, are you a medico?

Lol is this going to happen everytime someone on this board hears about someone with a heart condition who also happened to have been vaccinated?

Looks like Pfizer is now petitioning the FDA to approve a 3rd Covid “booster” shot. Does anyone know if the Covid vaccine and boosters will be recommended to be taken annually?
CDC says they’re not recommending but are looking into it.

I own stock in Pfizer, so for the sake of my portfolio I certainly hope it is. I think this is more related to the Delta strain though.

LOL are you going to open your ignorant piehole every time someone who happens to have been vaccinated comments on a heart condition?
