We had the exact same rope "noose" (really just a loop--it doesn't tighten around your hand when you pull) in a storage building we used. I think I've even seen it used on tractor trailer rear doors.
No, I meant, it's just easier to pull. I've got that same rope hanging from my attic access door in the carport!

Same assumption that you make that every person who supports black people is a liberal.
the difference being that your very recent words factually connect the dots of your presumption and deflection, while you will find no words of mine that indicate to a reasonable person that what you say about me is true. To fail to find racism in everything is not to fail to support black people and ALL people as citizens of the U.S., and most conservatives like me feel the same way. I do not assume that all who support black people are liberals. I do believe that most people who see racism in everything are.

Anyone else notice that the OP hasn’t posted since the OP?
@ChapelHeeled , I crown you ‘king pot stirrer’!
LOL, then give the 'gullible sucker racism-is-in-everything' crown to dadick. Be sure to go back and feel the almost palpable sarcasm in his posts directed at those who dared question the 'obvious' racism at work in the Bubba Wallace incident. Foolish tools like him, and not actual racism, are why we're watching so many riots.

...but he can’t help it. Being woker than woke and understanding the inherent racism that exists within the rest of us, it is his duty to point that out. I’m just surprised he hasn’t taken it to the next level and joined his meth head friends in yelling at the police near national monuments.

I still can't stop laughing about this "misunderstanding". Bubba and NASCAR damaged themselves beyond repair if you ask me. I'd be surprised if either are around in a couple of years.

Yup, I think they alienated their base with this stunt, and the clicks/views they picked up over the last week or so are now gone as well.

@heelmanwilm raging on his family again.

Meth head friends? Odd place to take that.

Also, I'm absolutely 100% against taking down the monument I lived around the corner of for 2 years at the Museum of Natural History.

But cool - keep going.

And for the record, my friends do heroin, we're classy.

Let's see how many of our regular poasters here will take their virtue signaling all the way.

https://www.charlotteobserver.com/opinion/opn-columns-blogs/peter-st-onge/article243732447.html
"All of which has been met with some backlash, as has the defacing last week of a World War II statue in a Charlotte cemetery — although it’s unclear why that statue was targeted."

LOL, looks like some are definitely upping the virtue signalling stakes...now it's just statues of any kind. It's just not a good time to be a statue. You've been staring off into the same distance for a hundred years and next thing you know, you're staring at dirt. Mindless liberals. Only a matter of time before the statuesque are targeted.

I was for the Lee statue being removed but I'm completely against Scott Key, Teddy, etc.

People who have no idea about history are bitching about statues of people they have no idea about.

If they change the name of Tar Heels, then dick will get his wish. I mean, I won't kill myself... but I will cease to support the school/teams.
Every time I would go to a game I'd make sure to wear anything that says tar heel on it and I'd bet I wouldn't be the only one.

If they get rid of tar heels, I would make it a point to tell them to **** themselves by showing up wearing nothing but tar heel gear. Everything would say tar heel.
Ohhh, okay. Gotcha. Well, that might make you feel better, for a little while. The name will still be changed and I will be doing something else with my time. But, thanks for clearing it up.

Same with Redskins. If they change it, I'm done with the NFL. I have no stake in it anymore. The tradition is gone for me. Redskins, as a mascot/nickname of The Washington Redskins is being used in a context that is actually empowering American Indians. If people are too lazy to understand and don't agree, that's fine. But, I will just choose to step-out of the pastime.

Me too. I'd get rid of all my "Carolina" and "UNC" clothing and memorabilia, but keep all the stuff that says "Tar Heels" and stock up on more before they get taken off eBay and the like for being racist. I'd then wear the Tar Heel stuff as much as possible, and talk nostalgically about how I used to support the Tar Heels.

It'll be like the Hartford Whalers. Since they moved, I see Hartford Whalers gear much more than I ever did when they were still a team.

You think many Brooklyn Dodgers fans became LA Dodgers fans? Nope!

Carolina retro-combo. The Whalers logo and sweaters were very cool.

I can't do hockey anymore. But there was a time I really tried to become a NHL fan. And the Whalers were the team I chose to root for largely because of the jerseys, err, excuse me, the sweaters. Those above are super dope.

Tune in for the playoffs this year - we're starved enough for sports you'll probably enjoy it.
