They're loaded! They have the #2 pick in the NBA draft (again!), and the other 6 McD AA's. And, they ALMOST let the ship go down earlier in the season. I realize UNCW and Yale are basketball powerhouses, so I give them huge props for that Mt. Everest climb.

As much as I would LOVE to have Roy beat Kansas for the title... it would be my lifelong dream to see us play dook in the title game and just beat the sh*t out of them.
Strum, I don't think anything we could do would ever top that. We could go on a tear and win 3-4 in a row and it would not trump beating dook down in a title game. With as much success as both programs have had, I am surprised we have not faced each other in the tourney. I don't know if I could take a game like that though. The thought of loosing a game like that could possibly do me in. Imagine the hoopla surrounding it. And dspn could do nothing about showing it, which would be great in its own right

Never going to happen. The NCAA would not allow dook to have to play a good team. This year was just another example of that. The committee members (two of which are dookies) obviously paid off Baylor to make sure Yale would win and dook would cake walk into the sweet 16. If somehow UNC were to make it through the NBA bracket that they are always in, then the NCAA, the officials and ESPN would conspirare together to make sure dook wins.
Look, I have a right to my opinion and I'm not trying to fracture the fan base, but a true UNC fan would never question these illogical theories because that would be the equivalent of critizing the team. That's something that can't be done.
True... we could get ND and UVA in successive games again. I don't like the thought of playing either of those a 3rd time.

By the way, UNC baseball just got done sweeping 3 games from dook by a combined score of 31-5. It was as bad as football season, but for three straight days. Should've swept them in basketball as well.

UNC has Indiana to deal with first. I'm not worried about beating ND, because we have and can and UNC is better than ND.
Don't look now but OU might get taken out. Of course what do you expect? Oregon will lose later I'm sure which further opens up dook's bracket all the way to the FF.

You should never try to judge what my posts are about. The team tried that once and blew 65 assists from Berry just in one possession.
Obviously some teams never got the memo from the ncaa that our path is to be as difficult as possible while dook's is to be the easiest. Our 2 seed is gone and dook has to play ore. Course we did get the late start again which will assuredly inspire a thread on radar.
Actually our 2,3 and 4 seeds are all gone. Only bracket to have that. Go figure.
Right?! We're really slow at work today and half the office is on vacation. It would be an absolutely perfect day to take an extended lunch at a sports pub and watch some basketball. But no....
dookies will have to beat a 1-seed and then a 2 or 3-seed to make the FF. Not saying those teams will take them out, but it's hard to complain about the remaining seeds. And really, it's Baylor's fault for sucking in the first round and letting those hosers play two double-digit seeds to make the SS.
