OOTB Carolina Basketball Discussion Thread

The Baker kid (I had no idea who he was) came across as a douche, but I don't know why anyone cares. Radar's mission is to find anyone on the Internet that says anything negative about Roy or UNC and bitch about it, no matter who it is. Some accountant in New Hampshire could say something on his Facebook page criticizing Roy about something, and someone from Radar would poast a thread calling him out.

Yes! And then get someone (Gary?) to write a comic book series about Radar and its Quest to Defend Roy and Carolina Hoops.

The promos write themselves:

"People want nothing more than to tarnish the reputation of our Beloved. Those people are out there. They live in the shadows, consumed by their hatred, persuaded and emboldened by dSPN. We, the Radarians, must stay ever vigilant against this threat. If a New Hampshire accountant bad -mouths Roy on his Facebook page, we'll be there. If dSPN fails to write 5 positive pro-UNC hoops articles a day, we'll be there. If a so-called "fan" even thinks the phrase "time out," WE WILL BE THERE. We are ready. We are able. We are Radar."

He said when he committed he hoped K would let him play his game and not hold him back with his style or something like that. Dexter and Kyrie were boys and I'm sure he was trying to support him but it came out like he was being critical. DI and the boys were all over it, used it as ammo for years, hated Strickland for life over it. I mean, I understand but it was way less than what this Baker dude said. Just funny how things come around.

Yes, GSD's response to CB34 read like Pack Pride's rationale/excuse for why it's okay for them to make "jokes" about Eve Carson, Dean Smith, etc.

Basically you're saying that Radar is full of Kellen Patrick lights. For those of you who don't know who that is go to DI and take a look at how he ruined what was once a fairly funny thread about THR quotes...

First of all, I’m not taking sides and I don’t need any excuses for anything I poast. I maintain my position that it’s silly for you to come into every thread and shit on the light ribbing that goes on - especially in this case. If you don’t want to take part, then don’t. But why come preach to other Carolina fans about giving it to a duke recruit that had it coming. He poasted it on Twitter so he obviously wanted people to react to it. So either he wanted to publicly throw shade at Roy and our program or he was unthoughtful and chose poor wording in his support of his friend. I don’t think our fans wishing the karma of getting buried on K’s bench is all that hurtful.

As far as “getting worked up”, someone’s worked up alright. It ain’t me.

Kellen is even worse on the Main Board(National Board).

He’s a legit Duke basketball, Notre Dame football, and Yankees baseball fan.

I’m inclined to think it was the latter. And remember, this kid was all the rage until he picked the evil empire. Was baker putting his foot in his mouth? Yeah. But it’s not worth being thrown a hissy fit over. And of course, yet again I’m thrown under the bus.

Kellen, that dude. Man, he used to send me all sorts of private messages. He would say thinks like, 'Oh yeah, f you, coryfly. Dean is no saint', or 'You can s*** a d*** you POS. Duke rules'. The grammar was worse but the gist was about like that. It was the only reason I ever checked my messages. At that time he didn't post either, just send me (and others I'm sure) private messages cursing the hell out of us. Dude is nuts.

You know that he is matt18jones... The guy who went full potato a couple years ago when Purdue lost in the tournament and told a poster he was going to shove his Johnson down his throat and shoot him in the snow. He was banned then came back as mgckbb or whatever. I guess he's trying to get everyone to tell him how great Purdue is, I'm just going to troll the shit out of him now though.
