UVA with the biggest let down/choke job in college hoops history. And it wasn't even close! 20 f**kin points!
Well, I surely now hold the fastest out of any OOTB tournament challenge.
I knew I was going a bit against the grain picking UVA to win it all but I really thought defense won championships. I guess I was exactly opposite. Instead of winning it all, they become the first 16-1 upset.
I really stink at doing brackets. Next year, I am going to pick teams at random.

Well w the UVA loss I’d imagine there’d be a ton of open tix for Sunday’s games. Hope the Heels can buy em up.
Radar never ceases to amaze. G7 starts a thread about a game that already had a thread, even admits it this time (no time stamp excuses), and mikey backs him up. The g7 worship continues; I wonder why that guy isn’t coaching at a P5 school. I should know better than to venture over there.
Props to SJung for trying to bring some rational alternative perspective over there. He's, apparently, committed the cardinal sin and mentioned how Dean Smith struggled to win the NCAA in an attempt to try and compare Bennett's obvious success as a coach.
UVA sucks in the NCAA. But, they somehow manage to rule, or partially rule, the ACC... and frequently. Apparently, the ACC needs to fire all of their referees because UVA has figured-out how to manipulate them into letting them play their style and not be penalized for 3 months.

Not just Jenkins but the UK-Duke fiasco years ago. It's absurd coaches don't do this.
Especially since (and correct me if I'm wrong), Michigan couldn't run the baseline because the timeout was off a missed FT.
You put your tallest guy on the inbound and with 3.6 left you guarantee the very best shot Michigan gets off is a half court heave.

The University of Florida was established as a land grant university. Therefore, they never have and never will be able to count on the refs to deliver a game to them. Like Michigan State and any other land grant institution (including Arizona), they have to learn to overcome shitty officiating.

Correct. You force a high pass or a pass well into the backcourt. It pretty much forces whoever catches the ball to shoot what is probably a very low percentage shot (even lower than what they got, which was pretty much just luck).
Follow-up: the UNC record holder is Pat Sullivan with 16 victories, as follows...

For Joel and Theo to break the record, they need to at least reach the Final Four, which would put them at 17.
