Isn't that a 2 way street? Them adding voting stuff to a covid aid bill and then not taking it out to get it approved is kind of the pot calling the kettle black isnt it?

You missed the part about Walmart, lowes, and the ABC stores being open and being essential why can't we lay that same logic to voting its essential. Go out and do it, the democrats are preaching if we all wear mask and social distance we can be safe, do the same in polling stations.
As far as the other there is NO reason for something about mail in voting being in a bill for Covid aid, you can't justify that in any way outside of they put it in there to make him say no so they can make the Republicans look bad by saying they wouldn't pass a bill to help you in your time of need!
All they have to do is take it out and they will pass it, and everyone will be happy but the people pushing their mail in voting agenda.
If you think that mail in voting won't open the door for fraud in either direction for both sides i have some ocean front property here in Shelby for you and I'm selling it cheap!

That's beside the point. Covid-19 or not, each registered voter in this country should have the option of voting in person or by mail. The fact that our president is sabotaging the U.S. Postal Service in a deliberate attempt to gain an advantage at the polls is reprehensible. The fact that his supporters, such as yourself, are willing to look the other way shows how far this country has fallen under his leadership.
You know, people really need to start looking at all this as an attempted coup. They are actively trying to overthrow the will of the American people.
It’s very simple, if Trump thought mail in voting would help him then he’d be all about it, fraud or no fraud. The fact that he’s this against it is only because he knows it will cost him votes. Trump cares about Trump and nothing else.
The really bad thing about it is that his supporters feel the same way. They don’t care about the country or anything else but him

Which socialistic parts has he reversed? It certainly wasn't the parts where he bailed out airlines, cruiselines and other corporations - opposite of true capitalism.
He's rolled back regulations - mostly environmental stuff, but then he expands big gov by creating Space Force.
People have been saying our country is going to shit since literally the signing of the Constitution. Newsflash: it didn't. Every time they said it. Trump doesn't have to save shit. There's still no other place on earth I'd want to be born in or have my kids born in, no matter what party has the presidency.

No way to know what Biden is all about. He's only been in government for about 50 years. No track record at all.

You're right, I was being nice. I know that Biden isn't anything close to Trump's level of idiot during most of those 50 years. However, lately, I'm not going to give Biden the benefit of that doubt cuz I'm one of those who think he has lost at least something upstairs with age. So that's why I said I don't know.

I didn't say it would cause voter fraud I said it would open the door to voter fraud!
Example #1 woman married to convicted felon ballot come in the mail she says I don't want to vote throw it away. He takes ballot votes for her and sends it back. This is voter fraud!
Example #2 rental property people living there change but mail is the route ballot comes to John Smith but Joe Johnson now lives there Joe takes ballot and votes for John! This is viter fraud!
Example #3 see example #1 change parties to woman living with illegal!
I could go on for hours of potential fraud situations. Just because Trump says it doesn't make it horse shit all the time think for yourself. This is the election for the POTUS even one ballott that is compromised is to many.
Another thing is I'm not such an big NO to mail in voting for the country if a systems can be put in place but i am a big NO to mail in voting when they are wanting to go nationwide and donit in a span of 4 months!
i found it weird yesterday that after moving(two months ago) and changing my address the formal way, the scvotes web page has me listed at two addresses...i only planned on voting once, just so we’re clear here.

You could have just as easily looked this up yourself, but don't say I never helped the feeble-minded.
- Request your mail-in ballot with a mail ballot application.
- Fill out the application completely.
- Submit the request to your local election office. You should request your ballot as far in advance of the election as possible. The deadline to request a ballot by mail is (received by) Tuesday, October 27, 2020 (in North Carolina; other states may vary).
- When your ballot arrives, read it carefully and follow the instructions to complete it and return it.

I still don't see how there's any assurance that the ballot is from who it says it is from. But at least it seems like it has to be a registered voter that requests it, which is nice. Honestly, probably more safe considering I never have to show ID at my polling place and any schmuck could vote in my stead anyways.
I don't see the problem with it. The lazy bastards that can't make it to the polls in person sure as hell aren't going through the steps to get and submit mail in ballot in advance of the election date anyways. Unless of course they have assistance in doing so.
Any given election year the percentage of absentee votes is typically around 25% of all votes cast, and like you said the voter is verified through the application process. What’s being proposed is not absentee voting. Some battleground, NE, and West Coast states are planning to merely mail unrequested ballots to all registered voters. Let your imagination run wild with all the possibilities there.

Although it doesn't really matter what the west coast and NE states (maybe with the exception of NH/ME) do, since they're all decided already anyways. The whole election comes down to PA/OH/MI/WI anyways, so what happens outside of that doesn't really mean shit, IMO.
