Orlando Night Club Shooting

His father is. He does a pro-isis segment on you tube. That you tube will come back to bite you.
Really? I want to see that. You got a link? That is unreal, the nerve of that douchebag saying he is peaceful.

Keep right on fvcking with these people. You guarantee more of the same. Propping up regimes, overthrowing elected leaders we don't like, selling arms to one group, selling arms to their enemies, invading their homeland, occupying their homeland, trying to westernize their culture, killing innocent civilians, drone-bombing people over there, supporting Israel and showing disdain for the Palestinians, and just promoting general chaos and disruption, since the end of WWII is what has contributed to this behavior.

If you refuse to believe and accept that culpability, you will just guarantee more terror attacks.
Ok, so what is the excuse before WWII? I'm sure we can find someone/something else to blame. Lets continue to deflect blame where there is none.

Radical Islamic Terrorists have been screwing with the USA and have been at war with the USA since our nation was formed. In fact, the nation's first real war after the War for Independence was against the Radical Islamic Terrorists along the Barbary coasts... The USA had to fight to simply conduct commerce in the Mediterranean Sea.

What we are seeing now is a modern continuation of that fight. But, now the Radical Islamic Terrorists want to form a Caliphate in the USA! ISIS said today that the Mateen POS was a soldier in the fight to establish that Caliphate. We have to be able to acknowledge the true origins and history of the USA's fight against Radical Islamic Terrorism and be ready to resist the formation of that Caliphate. I am not willing to live under an Islamic Caliphate and I would hope most people will move to defend our Constitutional form of government.

They also took U.S. merchant seamen and sold them into slavery as they justify against infidels.

But...But...But... These guys were probably being made fun of, and...and...and we should just forgive them for all they do and we should hug it out and enjoy s'mores by the campfire by nightfall. All will be swell, guys...really.

Fine... you keep bullshitting yourself with that. Keep telling yourself that today's struggle is because of the Barbary Pirates in 1803.

Keep trying to outfight these people. They'd love nothing more.

It's not really about blame. It's about recognizing what is not working and changing course.

Keep fighting these people. They live for it. I can guarantee you this; americans have nowhere near the same resolve.

I didn't see the pro-isis video he made but no doubt he is a turd with beliefs like what was outlined in your links. And I don't believe for one second he really thinks his son did a bad thing.
some of the pro isis rants were in an Afghani dialect and they weren't included.

You know, these kind of outbursts from you make it impossible to have a sensible conversation with you. And, you twisted what I said. I guess I will just put you back on mute.

For those capable of carrying on a rational conversation, what I said it is that what we are seeing today is a continuation, not a cause of, the war against the Barbary Pirates. Those Pirates from 1803 were motivated by a Radical Islamist ideology that is not too different from what we struggle against today.

Well, keep fighting them the way you've been doing it. Look at the marvelous progress and wonderful results it's brought.

100% of the shooters have been men. Do you apply the above to that group?

Well this is false. One of the 2 orchestrators of the San Bernardino shootings was a female. But, if your comment wasn't incorrect, then sure - I'd apply it to that group. But as GSD said, the goal would be to boil it down to the lowest common denominator. Yes, everyone that committed the crimes were human. Ok, let's see if we can boil it down farther than that. If they were all males - that would eliminate 50% of the population that we'd have to keep a closer eye on, which would be a start. Then if they all (or at least a majority of them) had something else in common, that would further widdle it down to an even smaller group we'd have to target, and so on.

What's your plan then? The floor is yours. Tell us specifically how your plan of "live and let live" is going to convince radical Islamists not to attack us anymore. Please keep in mind that any "well we shouldn't have done XY&Z 20, 30, 40, 50, 100, 200, 500, 100 years ago" argument is completely irrelevant and unhelpful because those things already happened and cannot be changed.

If you loved them as much as you say, you'd inform them that we are doing a pretty damn good job at this right now. Don't you care about those people?
Them, we, what? That made no sense. Of course, you're being facetious anyway.

My plan is unacceptable for you. It doesn't involve revenge and killing people. It's also not profitable for the owners of the country. Not to mention, a wealthy country like Saudi Arabia has too much invested as well.

You've got to LEAVE THEM ALONE. GTFO and stop playing lap dog for Israel. They will happily fight each other.

Right... go back to that. Pour kerosene on the fire. Enjoy the results.

The problem here is the term limits for presidents. Put in place for good intentions that I agree with, but in times like this, we have a set up where we're trying to fight an enemy while at the same time fighting amongst ourselves. And to make it worse, every 4/8 years, we elect a president from the opposing party...depending on which side of the isle is more pissed off 'this time.' It's nearly impossible to get sustained success that way. Will only use this analogy b/c this is a sports site, but there's a reason the Spurs, the Patriots, etc. are continually great...there is stability at the top. Those that hire and fire continuously are always fighting to stay afloat.

We haven't even begun to fight them. We could virtually wipe them out but our armed forces aren't even allowed to engage until fired upon first. We spend our time worrying about civilians who are probably sympathetic to them any way.

Well, the "we" in your statement is spurious, because YOU aren't going to fight anyone except people like me on message boards.

Go fight them in their homeland and see what happens. They will never give up and it will cost America more and more. Be my guest.

So, we abandon our laws and constitution to go and try to kill more people 10000 miles away. Get a true owner and general manager with a lifetime contract. Sounds fool proof.

I didn't ask for what you think my opinions would be of your plan.

You've got to LEAVE THEM ALONE. GTFO and stop playing lap dog for Israel. They will happily fight each other.
I'm assuming this quoted portion is your plan. Okay, let's flesh that out some. Say we pull out completely, including out of Israel and have zero presence over there at all. How will that make violent radical Muslims suddenly stop attacking U.S. targets? Additionally, us completely turning our back on Israel will just mean a ramp-up in violence between Israel and Palestine. And basically, I bet Israel would then just say "F it" and completely eradicate the nation of Palestine. Things would become more FUBAR than they are currently, which is saying something. But I guess that would be okay with you? I mean, after all, you could still just get to choose love and peace personally and not have to worry about such things taking place overseas (unless a domestic attack occurs near you, heaven forbid).

That was an exceptional job of "fleshing that out some." Do it again, only make it more horrible. Throw in China and Russia and Iran this time. Have Americans winding up as slaves in Iranian oil fields.

By all means, keep trying to fight them into submission. It's working like a charm.

China? Russia? No clue what you're going on about. What do you think will happen if we 100% leave the Middle East and have zero presence there, including Israel?

It's not really about blame. It's about recognizing what is not working and changing course.
That's a good idea, but what does that have to do with all of the stuff that you mentioned? Those things don't create these types of people. Talking about that is just deflecting the real issue. Don't be afraid to deal with the actual issue at hand.

You've got to LEAVE THEM ALONE. GTFO and stop playing lap dog for Israel. They will happily fight each other.
That's ridiculously naïve.

so, the need for an ar15 is?????

thanks
Not for you to determine. People deciding for themselves what other people "need" is a devolution into tyranny. Some liberal central planner might one day might wonder what "need" YOU have for something.

Ok, so what is the excuse before WWII? I'm sure we can find someone/something else to blame. Lets continue to deflect blame where there is none.
And what was the excuse during the early 1800's? I've been waiting for months for you to answer that one.

Again you avoid the point that it is not mid 20th century US foreign policy that has them enraged.
Wake up Pollyanna.

Tell ya what...

Imagine if the roles are reversed for a moment. Imagine the United States was taken over 60 years ago by another country. Ever since then we've been oppressed, we've been subjected to poverty and death, we've been fought over we've been disheveled, we've been bombed, we've been subjected to one harsh regime after another. And we believe that the source of the endless misery is Blank Country. We're going to pissed at them. Rightfully so. Finally some of us start fighting back in groups, small groups, terrorist cells funded by others of us that have some money and the ability to acquire weapons. And it builds and builds and builds and builds. Our lives and culture and Society has been a war zone for nearly three-quarters of a century. And, mostly for the valuable resources in the ground under us. How do you think we would feel, how do you think we would respond, and how do you think we would look going forward?
