Bubba acknowledged receipt of new NOA. dip fuks on twitter are claiming they know what penalties it will contain. HEY IDIOTS THERE ARE NO PENALTIES IN AN NOA!!!
tumblr_m68m6mcG0C1rn6jbgo1_500.gif

Ya I can't believe that people were actually taking that twitter account seriously. "Per the NOA the 1993 and 2005 titles are in jeopardy". Seriously? The NCAA is alleging the titles are in jeopardy? haha

So how can those flaming dumasses on gary-dar reconcile the fact that the ncaa that hates us soooo much as to fix the officiating against us has now backed off on their charges? I pity the next poster that claims the ncaa rigs a game against us. I'm gonna hurt his feelings.

The NCAA absolutely LOVES the University of North Carolina! We are one of their all-time biggest revenue schools! There's no bias, no prejudice, no "get even with them" by the institution itself. I'm sure there are individuals in the NCAA that despise the school, based on rivalries. But, BFD.

That dude trolled so many. He apparently had State 'insiders' using his info and Dan Kane trying to get stuff from him. Well done for sure.
I read through his timeline this morning. It was glorious.

To be fair, he said he was only speculating about penalties. But he was tweeting all sorts of made up stuff from the amended NOA that made it seem like UNC was going to get hammered. The best part was he was sharing information via direct message (private messaging, basically) on Twitter with a poster on Pack Pride named Manalishi. Manalishi turned around and posted it on PP claiming it was from his sources inside the NCAA. They bought it hook, line, and sinker. They were salivating at the the possibility of UNC getting destroyed by the NCAA, only the have the rug pulled out from under them when the new NOA was released. Absolute comedy.

The bottom line is that wolpfies will believe whatever they want to believe. Gullible and stupid is a terrible combination.

What makes it more glorious is you have to understand just how revered manalishi is on PackPride. I'm not using hyperbole when I say that they view him as a demigod. They've given him the title of "SpecOps" underneath his handle, and whenever he makes a post, they edit the thread title with something like "UNC Scandal....Manalishi speaks! Pg. 28." I've read a few of his posts and all he does is use the same ploy that psychics use. They paint with a broad brush and say things that sound good that you want to hear and can then fill in the gaps with your wants and desires.

But yeah, their demigod fell for the troll and even corroborated what the troll was saying lololol

This is my favorite part of the whole thing. The fewer State fans in this world, the better.

There are people on there that legitimately think that NCSU should refuse to play against UNC, and all other ACC schools, if UNC doesn't get hammered on this. They continue to believe/demand that UNC cheated in this. Regardless of whether you think the whole easy classes and whatnot is fundamentally wrong - the fact that the NCAA couldn't charge them with anything is the definition of not cheating. They didn't cheat, as there was nothing they did that was against policy. You can't teach them things they don't want to learn though.

Consider it a perk of living in Boston -- you don't have to interact with State fans and, presumably, you aren't related to any. Whereas I have no less than 8 of them at any family gathering I attend.

Watching those numbnuts debate the meaning of "adjusted" for 20 pages has been a top5 highlight of my message board life.
LOLLLLLL and then one of their scholars named WolfpackPete up and emails the NCAA contact (the one listed on the cover letter of the NOA) seeking confirmation on his wrong interpretation of the infamous "policies and procedures . . . still apply" clause.

I emailed the person sited in the cover letter of the NOA. I doubt I get a response but we will see if he responds.

Here is they way I read the cover letter of the NOA.

The NOA that was sent yesterday is in response to the new items that UNC-CH self reported back at the end of last summer. To me the line " Please note that the policies and procedures outlined in the May 20, 2015, notice of allegations and corresponding cover letter still apply." Says that UNC will still need to respond to the allegations that were set forth in that NOA as well as the new allegations spelled out in the amended NOA they received yesterday.

State fans (and DevilDJ) realizing what they've dedicated their lives to for the past 6 years is now meaningless:

Imagine all the good they could have done if they devoted that same time and effort to volunteering for a worthy cause. Or working harder at their jobs. Or reading a book. Or just not posting stupid shit on the interwebs.

Absolute meltdown going on on Pack Pride. Some of them are still holding out hope that somehow this is all a joke and UNC will still get hammered. Others are renouncing their fandom from NCSU because of this. Just a complete dumpster fire.
Confirmed: Pack Pride has been deleting UNC scandal threads that were dozens of pages long. They are the sorest of all losers.

Hat tip @TarHeelNation11

Additionally, manalishi went back and deleted some of his more....er, not-so-flattering posts where he corroborated RCCDMB's (mis)information. I don't know where to look to find these, but PP posters keep making reference to it.

There were a bunch of them that emailed their lovely AD asking for her to take some action. Apparently they received a response, but they are all fighting about it being real or fake. Got to love it!

I saw them fighting about if the response was real or not but I couldn't find where a poster posted her response. I didn't look very hard though.

All,

This is a group response because the answer is the same to each request for feedback regarding the amended NOA recently received at Chapel Hill.

As you know, the process has not yet been completed and will likely take another 4-6 months. At some time during that period, the NCAA will identify the sanctions for the violations. It seems counterproductive to assume what those will be, even though the amended NOA content is considerably different than the original NOA. We will wait to learn how this is ultimately managed before drawing any final conclusions.

Please remember that the NCAA has been fair to us as they dealt with the Eric Leak issue, as we disassociated him from our program and trespassed him from campus, in an effort to protect our teams and athletes. I share that as an example because they could have adopted a different approach that would have been more punitive. But they saw us make all the appropriate choices and acknowledged our efforts by deeming the violations as secondary. So, I am appreciative that when they have worked directly with us, they have done so collaboratively.

We will continue to be diligent to protect against any systemic violations of NCAA rules. Maintaining our integrity matters at NC State and we will not take short cuts in order to win games.

In the spirit of the Pack,

Debbie

I love when PP minions post stuff like this [emphasis mine.] There's a zero % chance the bolded is true, unless they're merely asking out of interested curiosity......or I guess if he's doing doctoral work specifically in African-American Studies. I also LOL at all the supposed entrepreneurs on Pack Pride who state matter-of-factly that they ensure that the résumés of any job applicant from UNC are automatically thrown in to the trash without question. That must be a stellar lawnmower repair service you operate, guy.

In athletics respect, yes they got away with it.

I'm not sure they got away with it when it comes to academics. I've been most concerned about their academic reputation and that harm is real. I recently started on my doctoral work at a top 10, private, college and was asked about the scandal during one of my interviews. As a simple farm boy from NC State, I was able to avoid that shame.

I count myself in the list of ones that think NC State has our own blame in this scandal. It's been six years and our administration has said nothing of this disgusting mess. There are points in our life that real men of character must stand for something. We're guilty by not making a stand at clear injustice. In that respect, we have earned our little brother complex.

There's no way that response is real. Even ole Debbie Cakes isn't stupid enough to issue a public statement about the UNC situation.

Gullible and stupid. It really is a winning combination for those lunatics. By the way, one of the PP posters suggested that security at the Dean Dome is more lax than any of the 9/11 flights. Yeah, for real. Can't say I'd be shocked if one of them goes completely off the reservation before this is all over.

I thought when scientist found a way to put a man on the moon that would be the greatest accomplishment in my lifetime. Well Well Well the athletic department at unccheat has found a way to top that for sure. Football and basketball there will not get any sanctions for the cheating they have done for the past 18-20 years. How is that possible but when you can cover your butt and leave no paper trail like they obviously have then what a fine accomplishment. Now you got the football program and baseball program and their coaches hiding under the skirt of the women's basketball program. My only hope is they continue to get close to winning but in the end always coming up short. GTHC

The NCAA is as corrupt, even possibly more so, than unc-cheat. In what bizzaro world do we live where they actually expect people to believe that for more than 2 decades there was this elaborate scheme cooked up for the benefit of women's basketball?

And in all honesty I wonder how much it cost the holes to buy off whomever it was that they needed to buy off.

I would make the 2,000 mile trip if we went to the FCS Subdivision. This morning I informed the WPC that I will not accept my season tickets in football this year, the first time in over 20 years. I've also informed them I do not want to be associated with their organization from this point forward. I'm going to try and not get interested in football, but that is a tall order. I'll probably watch our games because, I'm an idiot. I will not watch another team compete in college football again. I sure as **** am not making any further games until our leadership demands accountability and/or someone holds them accountable. OR we start cheating. I'm not talking about Eric Leak allowed to go to games level cheating, I'm talking free cars, parking places, exotic dancers, fake courses, etc.

I suspect I need to get another hobby, because we all know, none of that above is going to happen.

They've now locked up all the UNC threads. I guess I have to give them props for realizing they wasted their time this quick.

Yes this was funny. DevilDJ's life work (the 80 page thread he devoted to how badly UNC would be punished) is now locked - HAHA. That'd be like if Leonardo Da Vinci was a few brush strokes away from completing the Mona Lisa and someone just came in and ripped the things to shreds. Poor bastard must be heartbroken.

I've never wasted my time on Duke sites because I still can't even believe they have fans. But I don't understand why Duke fans would be so gungho to join the PP witch-hunt. Duke is actually good at sports, like lots of sports, not just basketball. I get the Moo fans obsession because they suck at everything. I thought Duke would be above that -- guess not. Although, you do have to remember that most Duke fans have never attended a class at Duke.
