The man obviously has good taste... the exception being some of his clothing choices.Ol' Roy stopped down in Goldsboro this weekend for some Wilbur's BBQ, thought ya'll should know.

If I had a Carolina blue plaid blazer, I'd rock it every single day.The man obviously has good taste... the exception being some of his clothing choices.
The black and blue isn't bad, but these have to go.If I had a Carolina blue plaid blazer, I'd rock it every single day.
Guess Roy isn't feeling too optimistic about recruiting or he has told him he won't have it for long.So Shea Rush has earned a scholly. That's pretty cool I reckon.

Would Roy really do that though? It doesn't seem like something he would do.Bad omen perhaps. Maybe it's just a year long thing. He's never going to play.

Maybe, I can't think of any though. I know Luke has said that he would give his up. The question is would Roy let him do that? I just don't see Roy doing that unless Luke actually refuses to sign the paperwork.I mean haven't certain people given up scholarships in the past to sign other players?
Why is everyone on radar saying that Cam might leave early? There is no reason to think that is a real possibility. Unless he just blows up this year (which seems unlikely) or decides he want to play in Europe I'm not understanding that thinking.Who leaves after this year? JB, Theo, maybe Jalek or Cam.
Doesn't make sense to me either. Makes me wonder if Roy has changed his mind or if he just doesn't feel good about bringing two in for 2018.We have Coby and Rechon on board and we're looking to sign 2 more for 2018. This doesn't make any sense if that's still the goal.

If we have an extra one for this year why not use it instead of letting the ncaa see that we don't need our full allotment... I'm sure there was some discussion about the last 2 years between the sidesGuess Roy isn't feeling too optimistic about recruiting or he has told him he won't have it for long.
I don't have a problem with him getting it this year, but it's going to be a wasted scholarship next year unless Roy doesn't give it to him. Roy just seems like the type of person who wouldn't take someone off a scholarship once they got it. FlaTarHeel picked Auburn as his sleeper pick for national champion.

Hmmm.... could it be that they're the same person? It's been known to happen. Those 2 should get a freakin' room for crissakes . .
God I wanted to quote him and say "shocking" but I'd likely get banned.FlaTarHeel picked Auburn as his sleeper pick for national champion. Just saying.
You guys make me feel like I'm back in high school.
That's what your mom saidYou guys make me feel like I'm back in high school.
@tarheel0910 and others, re: the scholarship thing:
If memory serves correctly, Wes Miller was offered a scholarship for one year when he transferred here from James Madison (?) with the understanding that he would potentially have to give it up in the following seasons. So it's not unheard of for Roy to do.
Did he take it away though? I'm sure Roy has told players they might have to give it up. Not trying to debate that. I'm wondering if Roy has actually taken it back in the past.@tarheel0910 and others, re: the scholarship thing:

Soooooo, no posts about Bagley being ineligible?
He was. Are you guys still recruiting Zion?I thought I read he was cleared to play?

Roy has an in-home with Zion coming up, not sure if we have a real shot at him, I think we get Little and I'd be fine with thatHe was. Are you guys still recruiting Zion?
No there was no doubt. Regarding Zion I wasn't sure, I noticed he was mentioned on THR so figured I'd ask. He's a freak athlete but I think he is getting overhyped quite a bit.Was there ever any doubt that Bagley was going to qualify? I mean, duke "helped" him through the reclassifying process. K wasn't going to waste that effort.
As for Zion, I guess Roy is probably still in touch. But we have no shot with him and personally, I'm perfectly fine with that. He seems like the same kind of player as Michael Beasley was in college - prolific numbers but barely moves the needle for whatever team he plays for.
