So this is interesting. One of the issues at Rutgers was trying to influence players' grades. I haven't read the NOA, but I'm sure this was listed as impermissible benefits. If/when we get hammered it seems like this might be something that we can use in court.

I just don't see that happening. The NCAA is now in a win/win situation. If we get hammered then all of the anti UNC people/media are happy and say justice was served. If we get it overturned in court, then those people will be upset at the judge not the NCAA. They can just say they tried their best.

Yea you're right. I believe the NCAA wants to hammer UNC but I don't think the end results will be that bad.

Moo would make a lot of sense with the recruits they have gotten last couple of years but I'm really pulling for dook to win this one. No one out here has hardly heard of Moo but many are dook fans.

Yeah, some of moo's recruits have definitely been better than normal. Add that to the fact that they are an Adidas school, then it would worry me if I was a moo fan. I'm honestly indifferent on duke when it comes to this. Don't get me wrong, it wouldn't exactly make me sad but if duke is caught up in this then that means Nike is involved. Based on our recruiting the last few years I don't think we are involved, but I'd prefer the FBI stay away from Nike just in case.

For me, I want nothing more than for UK and duke to be named in this. I thought about if duke were to be named how it might negatively effect the great rivalry we have and all that. Because Carolina kind of needs duke and duke needs Carolina. But then I said f*ck it, I want pain and suffering for duke fans more than I want a fun rivalry with them. As for UK, they've always been as crooked as a dog's hind leg. But to have a "Kentucky's Shame Volume II would be awesome.

I don't have hatred for the school, just their fans. The school itself means little to me because their whole athletic department is a joke. To see their fans heads explode after all they have done and said about us would make me beyond happy.
