I have to miss tonight's game because of burying myself in books for my exams this weekend. Can any of y'all provide any thoughts on our performance tonight, after the game is over? I'm taping the game and will watch at a later date, but I freely admit basketball isn't my strong suit. I'd like to know some things to look for when watching the replay. Plus I trust y'alls opinions a lot more than Radar lol.

I think most of you guys have watched UNC's exhibition games so I'll ask you this... I got Northern Iowa +17 tonight, good bet they stay within 17 of UNC or no? I usually stay the hell away from betting on college basketball because of garbage time fouls but without Berry I think the game will be closer than 17 points, looking for some feedback before I finalize this bet.

I think it’ll be close. Berry makes the engine run and I feel we have too many question marks to make this game a blow out.
It’s just all gravy to me baby. I know it’s a cliche but after a championship the ride the next season is just that much more enjoyable. Can’t wait to check out the Brooks/Huff/Manley combo. Is Jalek the real deal? How has seventh and Kenny progressed? What the hell will Theo do next!?? And baby face Cam..will he go for 20 plus or what!?

Northern Iowa isn't very good. They were mediocre (at best) last year and they lost their two best players. One of the guys they lost was easily their best and most well-rounded player. He led their team in most areas (pts, rebs, assts, stls, made 3 pointers). They have one returning player that was any kind of an impact player for them. So I anticipate them having a hard time facilitating anything.
So my thoughts on the spread are that with Berry, we're easily 17 points better than them. And even without Berry, we're still 17 points better than them (at home). But you know Roy's gotta Roy. And he'll probably have Sterling Manley playing the point forward at some point "just to see what works". So without Berry and with Roy doing his mad scientist thing with the line ups, if you have to bet it, the smart money is on No. Iowa. But I wouldn't touch that game either way.
Agreed. It's playing with house money. But all that comes crashing down if duke or UK win the title.

My biggest worry is that Roy will f**k up any momentum we get with whacky lineups, which is even riskier this year considering much our team is playing in their first college game.
Let me go ahead and kill the suspense. Yes. He will absolutely do that. But he'd have to go pretty deep into the bench with extended minutes for us to be in danger of losing this game.

Plus, I don't know if you're married and if so, what kind of wife you have, but my wife watches the bank account like a hawk. And she rips me up one side and down the other if I lose. And when I win, she wants part of the take. No f*ckin way. I'll take my chances with having my kneecaps broken by Moose and Rocco before I want my wife knowing about my gambling exploits.
Yeah. This feels like a game that we lead comfortably by ~20, but the final margin is only about 12-14.
I had a buddy that used to but he's a full time fire fighter now and doesn't have the time. My wife doesn't understand the value of a dollar so I watch our account like a hawk and handle all of our finances so she would have no clue. Just went ahead and created an account on Bovada, see if that works. The line moved to UNC -15.5 so I'm staying out of that one.
