I'm glad the Heels picked up the win, and relieved Maye won't miss any time.

Famous characters with masks: Bane, Hannibal Lechter, Michael Meyers....Is it time to release the avatars again??
Update on red hoodie man... err, it might be a woman. Can't tell. Anyway, it took its red hoodie off halfway through the first half, only to reveal....... a green t-shirt. Way to dress for the occasion, budOk... re-watching the game. Who was the too-cool-for-school geezer right behind our bench in:
1) sunglasses
2) a red hoodie
??
Assuming he isn't blind, I don't know which of the above list is worse, tbh. Roy should've had him tossed.
Clemson may have been feeling lucky, but ...Is it time to release the avatars again??
He wasn't a UNC fan, so there was no need for Roy to have him tossed.Assuming he isn't blind, I don't know which of the above list is worse, tbh. Roy should've had him tossed.
Crazy stat from last night
It's bad but I still contend he has to shoot it from time to time.Crazy stat from last night
Theo Pinson: 0-4 from 3
Everyone Else: 15-27 from 3
I agree with that, and he doesn't even have to shoot 40 percent, it would just be nice if his percentage was higher than his ageIt's bad but I still contend he has to shoot it from time to time.
Pretty sure it's along the lines of his shoe size.I agree with that, and he doesn't even have to shoot 40 percent, it would just be nice if his percentage was higher than his age
Practice? We talking bout practice?I've got no problem with Theo shooting threes as long as he's shooting them in practice.
He has no confidence whatsoever in the three. Hell he may have less confidence in it than we do.Practice? We talking bout practice?
Crazy thing is if you watch him during warm ups, he makes a pretty high percentage. I know that's warm ups and he doesn't have a defender in his face, but I've never seen the disparity of a guy in warm ups to the actual game like him.
Yeah, it's definitely a mental thing, which is part of the reason he still needs to take some because if he makes some maybe he can break himself out of it.He has no confidence whatsoever in the three. Hell he may have less confidence in it than we do.
I have zero qualms about UNC's defensive effort this season or last season (other than the obvious collapsing too much and leaving dudes open for 3s).Thoughts on Berry’s recent struggles on defense? A lot of people seem to be making comments about his lack of defense or effort. I posted the following response and made it a thread on 4 Corners
“I can’t believe you think Bertry’s effort is lacking. As a UNC PG, he’s already asked to do so much more than anyone else on th court. Add in the fact he’s playing more minutes than ever, and it takes its toll.
Lastly, and this is my guess, Berry KNOWS he is the one player we can’t afford to have in foul trouble. He simply can’t be as aggressive as he wants because there’s no one behind him. We aren’t a tourney team without Berry.
Berry has a pretty solid resume to suggest he knows how to play defense and cares as much, if not more, than anyone on this team.
@andrew jones I’d be curious to hear your thoughts.”
To expand on this and to be perfectly frank, Theo is uhh, I'll say my least favorite player in the starting 5. I love that he's one of the seniors and that he's a really good teammate and locker room guy from all accounts, but I swear that dude has to maintain a 1:1, or at best, 2:1, ration of doing something good and then doing something bad.If I had to nitpick anyone's effort, it would be Theo's on loose balls on the defensive end. He moves like he's stuck in quick sand and he loses his footing way too often.
