OOTB Carolina Basketball Discussion Thread

The only thing it would stop is the media wouldn't be able to investigate.

Ya, that would have been nice. Maybe they wouldn't have been encouraged to:

the NCAA reviewed the AFAM stuff and said it was fine -- no violations. But then, like 8 investigations later, they re-levied penalties against us because of the AFAM stuff, especially after the Weinstein investigation. Well, they tried to levy penalties anyway.

Ehh.. if we've learned anything from the past few years, it's that we should wait for all the facts to come out. I'm certainly going to. Just yesterday, this happened:

So it's not like it would be beyond ESPN, and specifically "Outside the Lines" (hello, remember the paid-for Rashad McCants interview) to stretch the truth, especially on a hot-button issue like sexual assault.

Let's see how things progress.

Its all good

Dantonio and izzo are out. Gone by mon according to reports. Wow this is just the tip. (Twss)

I’m telling ya with all th attention to metoo and the nassar case it does not look good for msu. If true this is worse than penn st and baylor combined. We’re talking child endangerment, conspiracy, obstruction, over 17 years and dozens of victims. Orchaestraded at the highest level of msu admin. I’m predicting right now we will not see an msu football team or bball team next season. In fact If they had any smarts they would immediately suspend all athletic activities. People are going to jail. Lots of them.

I think you're overreacting some and I don't think the ncaa is going to do anything. They learned their lesson about overreaching in the penn state case.

Penn State is barely even thought of in that regard anymore by the fans and their students. Whatever they incurred has been given back to them and they're just as strong as ever.

I can't really go after MSU because of the BS media stuff that happened to UNC. Dantonio has already said it is crap. Now, he may be lying but I just can't get behind a witch hunt after what happened to UNC.

Hey you guys that love to wager . . which way would you go on this . . ?

dOOk is a 5 point favorite at home against UVA . . . O/U is at 136.5.

Every time Platek comes in we give up a run. I know it isn't always his fault but the trend is pretty strong.

I think it's who he is in the game with maybe?

Part of it but he is -35 in ACC play, which is way worse than anyone else on the team. At some point that means something.

Biggest issue is clearly the shooting though. Can not be successful if we can't make shots. Oh, and the bench of course. Just don't get much there.

Best few minutes in a while for Brooks. Then we screw it up with an open three. I hate how we scramble and it works and we go right back to it. Never works twice.

Getting torched from three and more turnovers.

I LOVE AP . . I like his game, he's unselfish and is always moving. He knows how to play this game.

He's going to be good one . . and I feel the same about BRob.
