Roy never really sounds thrilled about players though. The only players I can think of off the top of my head that he sounded thrilled about are Marcus, Tyler and JB.

Thanks, Billy. I would've never seen that. Weird that the basketball schedule doesn't include the broadcast information. That's where I always look for the TV listing.

Roy often uses talk like this as a motivational device. Both Garrison and Sterling look considerably stronger than they were last year. That alone should make them better. I think Roy is a master of "coach speak".
As a coach, you never, ever over promise. It will bite you if you do.

Unfortunately no. Going down for the football game here a few hours and couldn’t swing both nights. I would have loved to go last night and just stayed the entire weekend.

Not sure why it's good for the schools. The FBI case is separate from the NCAA violations.
They were found guilty of defrauding the schools, meaning the schools did not know and were the victims. It is going to be more difficult for the NCAA to make a case when legally the universities/coaches/etc... were not complicit. It doesn't mean they can't do anything (though much of the 'damning' info is hearsay and testimony without proof anyway) but it would have been easier with not guilty pleas.
The FBI reasoning doesn't impact what the NCAA decides. They can say the coaches knew if they want to. They aren't bound by the court's decision.
Eh, we will see. They can say whatever they want. Not without a fight though. I think they will lose it except where they have proof. I mean, I don't care either way. It doens't impact UNC. JMO on what the verdict means.
