Yeah my 15 year old son "Google verified" me today when I told him moo has actually beaten us a couple of times since he has been alive. He says he must be getting old because he doesn't remember that happening.
How old are you? The reason I ask is that I suspect those who don't feel like Moo is a rival are relatively young and don't remember our history with them. It was a pretty competitive series through the Tom Gugliotta era in the mid-90s. They've really sucked since then.
For those of you on Twitter, I highly recommend trolling their fans. Just find a stupid tweet (not hard) and like or retweet it, no commentary added.
32 and the game being competitive isn't the only measure of a rivalry. The game has to mean something. See my post earlier in this thread about why they aren't a big rival.
I try telling my boys about the rivalry and how it was during the 70s - 90s. They just stare at me and threaten to send me to a nursing home.
State was THE rivalry but just about the time they started sucking is when dook got better and espn was expanding and over-hyping the shit out of our games with dook. Honestly I feel like they've hyped it to the point that it feels like your season is worthless if you don't win that game.
