If you told me we had 1 made 3 at half I would have said we were down by 20.
this duke basketball is the nba...if this is what you desire, then by all means, recruit everyone.
however, if you have pieces to a puzzle that work and stay around, look at carolina, overall.

Honestly, that was the most straightforward game I've seen us play in HIS ever. Refs not a factor at all. No Zion=no answer. We could have easily cracked a hundred if our 3s dropped.

A hero will continue to root his people on. I've seen collegiate games were the team rallied to play thru a missing key player. How many times have we endured this over the years? Not knocking the kid, just strange he wouldn't make his way out. I wonder if the had to immobilize his leg

There was some luck in there. That's part of the game. If we'd lost Luke Maye, we'd have been U-S-C. But, them's the breaks. Zion would have definitely made a huge difference and I knew the win would be shrouded because of his absence. Would UNC have won if Zion played? I dunno... he didn't play. It's not like the dookies had no talent on the court. When Jones went out against Syracuse, they got their asses kicked, too... at home!
But, the dookies have chosen to stock-up with freshmen OAD stars every year now. UNC has experience and experience sometimes makes a difference.

True. Outstanding work by Roy taking K to the woodshed on game planning. Just relentlessly pounding it down low (giggity). Roy cut off the drives and dared them to shoot and they sucked.
Interesting, I didn't know that either. If that's not the definition of an additional benefit not available to a regular student I dunno what is. I didn't see schools lining up to pay $50K premium insurance policies on the rest of their students.
His parents probably couldn't afford to pay it with the super high rent they are paying.
