I've already got some medication lined up and ready for Saturday. My wife has agreed to let you know when I die from a heart attack right before the game.

I'm not sure if I'll even watch it. I've been recording the games and watching later so I can skip the commercials. I'll do the same thing this time, but might check the score first. Give it a watch if we win or give it a delete if we lose.I've already got some medication lined up and ready for Saturday.
Thinking I might do the same. If we lose, I won't ever have to see the rat and his douchewads celebrate. Don't want that lasting image in my head.I'm not sure if I'll even watch it. You’re so obsessed with Duke.Maybe facing Duke in the tourney was inevitable someday. I get that. But why now? I always thought it’d happen when both teams were powerhouses.
This is the ultimate glory or gloom game. Bragging rights forever. My grandfather told me we should embrace it as opposed to running away from the challenge (he has no horse in this race).
F**k I just hate it had to be dook on K’s goddamn retirement tour.
You’re so obsessed with Duke.
This UNC team, THIS team, is in a Final Four. Relax and enjoy. Worry about Duke on Saturday.
To go from pretty low to so high gives "peaking at the right time" a whole new meaning. We've been too spoiled for decades to really feel this.It still hasn't completely sunk in that this team is in the FF...
Madness really does seem like the most appropriate word for the last few weeks
SameI will not be able to watch the game live so I will follow the game thread and other online postings.
Probably be more watched than the actual championship game.I’m betting it’ll be one of the most watched games in tourney history
I was in Paris for the 2017 Final Four and National Championship. Streamed the games on my phone at the ungodly hour of 3:30am or whatever it was.I’m in Europe these two weeks including all three games of the final four and all sweet 16 games.
The games generally start 6 hours later here so like midnight to 3 am. And they wouldn’t be on tv here. I can’t get up middle of night And watch.
So I just wake up early like 4 or 5 am and check the scores. Wearing my lucky shirt I wore in person for Tar Heels 2005 national championship. That exact shirt has worked for four improbable wins in this years tourney.
I know a lot of people are getting amped up about it being Duke in final four and how colossal the game will be - with forever bragging rights for the winner.
And you know it is a 100% given that major national media especially ESPN is gong to deep throat the rat to an unbelievable level. Like this was the greatest coaching job by any coach in any sport ever - and how the rat is clearly the greatest coach of any college or pro sport ever. Just crazy / over the top. ESPN is nearly unwatchable anyway - all woke - so many commercials etc so I won’t watch a minute of it.
I guarantee you there will be more time and attention spent on Duke and rat than on the other three teams combined.
But l’ve been thinking - and Adam Lucas phenomenal “Experienced” article (he just hits it out of the part every time but this article is especially great) helps put in context all the great things and experiences and joy and frankly overachievement from what this team looked like in Jan and Feb….how can you not be in enjoyed for Hubert and all the players and families and for the past players coaches, and all the fans - The Program.
And now in my mind anyway I’m at peace with whatever happens on Saturday- still having a lot of pride in Hubert and this team.
When we were squarely on the bubble - maybe even on the wrong side of it, who among us would have - if asked, said “no I’ll pass” on going to Final four - even if it meant meeting and possibly losing to Duke?
I’d take that in a heartbeat. Another final four - extension of a record not likely to be caught, passing Kentucky on all time tourney wins, third time beating a 1 - seed as an 8 seed…. In a year or so I feel like even losing to Dook in this game would pass - but then admittedly I don’t live among a lot of Dook fans.
For me - the other missed opps where we clearly had a better team would sting more, longer. The loss in the title game in 16. The tourney when butter got injured. The several final four glitches with Dean and loaded teams with stackhouse Jamison shammond Rasheed etc. All of those are tougher to take.
I see it as Heels are totally playing with house money ever after game one of this tourney. Not really highly favored in any following game.
If a much more talented team on paper wins in a game where it seems certain Dook will get favorable officiating to help keep this ugly garbage dream exit of the rat alive - there is no shame in that for the Heels. So what? More talent happened to come through. Is that something to crow about forever? We still crushed them in Rats last home game in front of all those loser fans and dbag bitch former players. That is forever. Can’t be erased or redone the next game or next year.
I had reservations about Hubert like everyone else did, early - but wow has he turned me around. Even that weird stuff he’d say which seemed out of touch with reality - maybe that was more for his players to hear than for us - him telling them what he thinks they CAN be. And now they seem gelled and seem to be playing hard, smart, together.
I think he will have them ready on Sat. Who knows? They have better offense in them than they have shown for most of the games even in this tourney.
If it doesn’t work out Saturday, I will take joy in the four wins to get here and completely ignore the rest like it never happened. Just be proud of what joy this team has brought
I think @dadika13 is the only one here who lives among a lot of duke fans.but then admittedly I don’t live among a lot of Dook fans.
No need to disparage the Duke cheerleaders.......Bunch of goat bangers cc @bluetoe
I was in Europe during the '09 run. Watched the Oklahoma game from a bar in Venice and got a photo with my buddy in front of Blake Griffin's sad face at the end. Was on an overnight train during the final and had to wait until we got back to London for the outcome.I was in Paris for the 2017 Final Four and National Championship. Streamed the games on my phone at the ungodly hour of 3:30am or whatever it was.
Hopefully having an OOTBer across the pond during a Final Four run bodes well for our championship hopes. I'm not superstitious, but I am a little stitious.

Their one chance to win a championship, the women's team, also lost this past weekend. Moo being moo.As if being in the FF isn’t cause enough for celebration consider $tate lost their fourth player to transfer portal today. They lost their top commitment and one of the best players in the nation last week as well as fired two assistants. Keatts is killing it alright.
i would’ve pushed that mf’r in the broom closet.I did have a weird dream last night. I was in a mall or office building and saw coach K walking with a bad limp, he sat down on some steps then couldnt get up on his own. I went over to him with a wheelchair and pushed him down the hall to where he was trying to go. He mentioned a game and said it would have been a different outcome if not for the injury. He said that injury completely changed that game. That is all I can remember.
I can't watch. I get too worked up. I won't even record it, I'm so paranoid about bringing bad luck. Hopefully, if its a UNC win, the ACC network will be allowed to rebroadcast it in the future.I'm not sure if I'll even watch it. I won’t watch it here in Paris either. It starts about 3 am Sunday morning. I have an 8:40 am marathon start time. I have my lucky Heels shirt I’ll sleep in, and wake up in the morning hoping to see the best outcome.I can't watch. I get too worked up.
