It's definitely about him, but I seriously doubt it was meant as anything but a harmless joke. It was a solid little chuckle. We also used Puff for the game in Pittsburgh.Yeah, that's a stretch. He had to go out of his way to make that about him.
Shitty and embarrassing that we lost that game. Looking like we are who we thought we were.

And, what is that crap about him saving the program when Matt Doherty was destroying it??? Sheezus, dude. You were on one of the worst UNC teams in the program's history-- stuck in between the two best eras in history. I'm happy for him if he chose UNC to attend and play basketball. But, when you follow your dookie brother to another ACC program... and, then play your former school/team... don't be shocked when the fans boo you. Hell, they did that to Capel and K had to personally shut them up and HE got booed! It's called sports.
I have a hard time believing anyone would remember capel's #, and I'm sure there are approvals, but probably no fine-toothed comb, especially given 99% Carolina fam members aren't butthurt. I do believe it.
And, screw Jeff Capel, too! That dude gets tons of praise for a prayer shot he made in a game where the dookies actually LOST to UNC!
You think maybe it's in the realm of possibility that the guys boss and/or the guy in charge of the account knows how to use the internet? If they do, they could do a search for his number. Don't be upset that UNC basketball has a good Twitter game. They trolled them when we went up there to play and they trolled with this one too.
The only possible "negative" whatsoever is that they picked a pic where Lebo had his tongue out. Otherwise, it's nothing but a positive. Even then, I think it's neutral at worst and the dumbass should take it as a compliment that he was arguably targeted for reference. They won in the Dean Dome, show some class and reflect the lessons you learned while playing Carolina BB.
If I was in charge of the Twitter account, I would use that picture every time we played Pitt. Never change it as long as he coaches there. Obviously UNC is too diplomatic to do that, but I would have no problem trolling him for the rest of his career.
Well, I watched the last 4 minutes of the game. Wish I had that 4 minutes back. There is so much wrong with this team. Not sure what the whole story of the game is, but not getting to the line is pitiful. I really think HD has changed the dynamics of what we are use to seeing. It may have worked if they hit their 3s, but it's hard to imagine this team turning it on.
I expect a loss on Tuesday, too. This thing is unraveling. Preseason #1 is just another embarrassing aspect of the whole season.

It's hard to believe that with all of that experience, and most of the guys that almost won the NCAAT, the team is barely on the bubble the next season. I'm getting to the point of just not even wanting to watch any more games.

Nance was clearly not ready for that moment, he hurt us several times on both ends. what a disappointment he's been. but i guess Manek set the bar SO high. both teams stink and last night we stunk a little more than dook.
Not that hard to believe. I said before the season started that expectations were too high because we don't know if we got hot at the right time last year or if we were finally improving. And Brady was going to be irreplaceable. Obviously I was right about Brady and it appears, as of now, that we just got hot at the right time last year.
We don't have anyone that can make it consistently. That's the real issue with Hubert's offense. It depends on people making shots. Roy didn't need it as much because his was all about transition and rebounds. He just needed one or two guys that could shoot. Davis needs at least three.
I agree Roy didn’t need shooters the way Hubert does. But again, Manek’s impact cannot be overstated. It’s incredible how much one dude can make a difference. Even with RJ and Love going backwards this year, if we have Manek, we probably have 2-3 losses right now. Just the threat of him makes other guys better shooters. He demands so much attention because of his shooting that other guys now have more space and less contesting from the defender. Pete is skilled in several ways and could be a good player for some teams. But we don’t really need what he does well.
I'm just tired of Hubert forcing something that isn't there. For Christ's sake I thought we were getting a coach a little more flexible to making adjustments at times than Roy.
Am I late or behind on a rumor about Love and RJ Davis having a spat over a girl? A friend of mine was telling me about it yesterday!
It's been on the boards for a little while. Supposedly it's Deja Kelly from the girls team. Just a rumor, though.
Maybe the rumor and the poster last night affected Kelly as well in today women’s loss to Louisville as she went 3-16 from the field.. 🤔

Same. I can’t stand LBJ. I have no interest in watching anything NBA related. It is pure garbage IMO but anytime LBJ is on the screen - highlights, him speaking, etc. I have to change the channel.
