I think he's talking about Steat. He poasts links to his company on the Prediction Contest threads.
I know Steat had inquired about making a donation to AJ for the website, he may be a sponsor . . I dunno.
Yeah guys, I'm talking about Steat. His company "sponsors" the prediction contest on Radar, whatever that means. I ain't trying to rat or anything, but I really, really like the job A.J. does on this site, so I'd be a little irritated if that Steat dude is just shamelessly using this site to drive traffic to his site and not paying THI anything.
I'd like to see this site grow and see A.J. be able to hire more and more staffers over time. I know A.J. probably ain't pulling in much and he works his ass off.
I have no idea how football staffs do it. It is ridiculous the amount of kids they have to identify, monitor, and keep in touch with.
In its simplest form, it is a quick basket you get before the defense can get set. Usually after a quick inbounds after a made basket, but not always.
However, if you ask gary he will tell you it's any basket up until about 3 seconds left on the shot clock. We are in our half court set after that point.
When i'm playing pool hammered i will break and sometimes miscue or not hit the rack good so i go ahead and hit the cue balll again while its still moving and bust em up again. Very hard to do.
So ESPN is already hyping up the dook game a week early. Just another reason that those ****wads have ruined this game for me. They make it out to be the freaking super bowl and if you lose then your season is for shit.
So the UNC/ND game is being moved from Chapel Hill to Greensboro and won't be televised because of water. Ummmmmm.......huh?

This would be hilarious if it happened for the dook game. ESPN would lose their shit. Of course you could gauran-damn-tee they would figure out a way to televise the game.

Exactly. They have basically a whole day to drive 50 miles and set up cameras, in a building that has hosted its share of basketball games over the years.

Moving the ND game is terrible for us. Kevin Knox was to visit this weekend. I doubt he's coming now. Just can't catch a break.

Duh. Y'all freaked out over nothing lol. UNC is a cash cow. ESPN will always find a way to televise them. I think our fans take for granted how lucky we are to have the exposure that we do.

Do you have an Xbox or any kind of streaming device (Roku, etc) for your tv? If so, and you have a cable subscription that has ESPN, you'll likely find it on the WatchESPN app.
I got none of the above and I wouldn't use an Xbox if you gave me one. Those things suck.

You didn't say you were cool with it but we all know you constantly make excuses for the football program and cut the basketball program zero slack. You talk about basketball only UNC fans, yet your bias for football is so obvious.

UNC Basketball is already in the pantheon of great programs. We have the talent and the coaching and the resources to make a deep tournament run every year. There's no reason we should be doing as poorly as we have been against Duke the past 6 or so years in hoops.

Again, we lost to dook 3 of the last 5 years, despite having clearly superior talent. That has not been the case in basketball. And most would say Krazywhiskey is the best college basketball coach in the modern era, I imagine you would as well.

Again, I never said it was acceptable to lose to Duke in football. All three of Fedora's losses to Duke have been very unacceptable. Last season's was especially unacceptable because Duke had a shitty season due to never having their starting QB. That was a bad, bad loss and I've said so multiple times.
The only thing we disagree about with that loss is that you think it totally trainwrecked the season. I'm not of that same opinion.
