I remember hearing let’s give Hubert time and see what he does with his own lineup. Well here we are, a poorly constructed roster that is undersized at every position and a $700K transfer that can’t get off the bench. I think I’d rather not see any more years of what Hubert can do with his own players.

We got killed. Period. How is this NOT HD’s fault? We were scared and under manned. Haven’t been this disappointed since the first half against KU in 2008.

I understand that we were out talented and everyone else does as well but
It is so frustrating to have a coach that doesn’t change anything at all in any game he coaches. The best coaches make adjustments to counter the opponents and it is obvious that Hubert does not comprehend that concept. He is as bad as the come as a coach that won’t deviate from his game plan to make in game adjustments. Seems like a nice guy and he says all of the coaching phrases you want to hear but he is miles out of his league. Probably wouldn’t have won this game regardless but many many games a good coach could have won in our season this year.

In fairness, I did see Carolina switch defenses more than I have the entire year. We went man to zone, we pressed... Not sure if it was the defenses themselves as much as the changeup that slowed dook for just a half a second

FWIW, Coach Davis was already employed by UNC, and has been for almost 13 years now.

Hubert is a fantastic human being but he’s a god awful head basketball coach at this level. Given where we are in the season, his post game pressers continue to be baffling. Such a nice guy who I firmly believe just doesn’t get it.
