It was more of a conversation about people actually admitting that. A lot of people won't admit that. If I were to post on radar that JJ would have been liked and Tyler would have been hated, those guys would freak the hell out and I might get banned for a few days.

It's not exclusive to white players, by the way. We would've HATED any of the following players had they gone to Duke and had acted in the same manner:
- John Henson (he of the Dunk & Shriek move)
- Rashad McCants (oh wait, this one is reversed now and Duke fans love him)
- Rasheed Wallace (obvious reasons)
- any players that kept playing despite legal incidents during their Carolina career such as Ty Lawson, Ray Felton, etc.

I can definitely agree with those. Oh, and Rashad can GFH.

If I had as much disdain for Radar posters as some of you seem to have, I wouldn't deign to post there at all. Why not let the unwashed masses just wallow in their ignorance?

Because on occasion people say stupid shit like "ima gonna root against Carolina to lose until the coach is fired" and it just pisses one off on about every level.

I'm not getting any younger. I've been hoping for a top 20 football program for 5 decades now. To see us once again mired in mediocrity 6 years into Fed's tenure is killing me, especially when I had high hopes for him. But nothing I see tells me he is going to lift us out of the bottom half of the league, a league that's getting better every year, even if we aren't.

I don't have disdain for radar. What I do have is the ability to recognize that there are just some things you can't say over there. Especially if you don't fall in line with certain people.

They look fine on offense. Some shots aren't falling but they look ok. They haven't looked great on D but Barton has just made some shots as well. They have made a bunch of threes of course. Felton looks outstanding. Cam is getting great looks but can't make one. Woods looks about the same. Kenny looks good. Pinson doing his thing for the most part. Two of the freshman bigs actually look pretty decent. Considering there is no Berry they don't look too bad.

They playing a D2 team? Duke is and I'm convinced if they drop to division 2 they'd go undefeated.
 
One thing is noticeably different and the announcer just commented on it. Luke Maye can get up a lot better than he could last year.

Woods still can't shoot at all.
 
Barton has made a crapload of threes. Small team but they are kind of fun to watch. Second half has been a hot mess tbh. Turnovers and terrible play all over the place.
 
Yeah it's real sloppy but that's what you'd expect for their first time on the floor together. Without looking at the stats, a lot of missed shots but hopefully those'll start to fall.
 
Yeah, I expect Johnson to make more than he has tonight, though he is historically very inconsistent. Like usual, a team nails us for double digit threes though. That is kind of to be expected against a smaller team though. No real issues with the offense though. Guys generally knew their role. The defense was not good.
 
Everyone is bullish on Huffman but I thought he was the worse of the three tbh. He blocked some shots against a really small team but needs a lot of work on his hands and around the basket. He is fun to watch though for sure, haha.

Maybe.

I mean I wouldn't say I care, in that it doesn't count and has to be taken with a mound of salt due to the competition, but it was after all our first chance to see this grouping of Heels take the floor, which was fun.

I watched last year's recap video before tipoff to start basketball season off on the right foot.
