Well, yeah, if they lose someone to injury, sure. If any team loses key players to injuries, that's a season-changing variable. But, even if Williamson were to get injured, or even one of the others, they're still FF material. Williamson isn't the most valuable of their 4 freshman ringers. I'd say Reddish or Garrett are harder to replace. Williamson had a very sub-par night last night, and Auburn never got within 6 or 7 points of them. Bolden blocked 7 shots. They have depth, too.

Gonzaga was about to lose to the emasculated Arizona Wildcats, and then they poured-it-on in the last half of the 2nd half. I don't think the dookies have trailed in a game this year. If they did, it was the opening score.

The Gonzaga/dookie game tonight will reveal a lot.

I completely disagree that they’re still FF caliber without one of their big 3. No way. We can argue over the most valuable of the 3 (although Reddish isn’t it - it’s Zion or Barrett), but if they lose any of those 3, they’re too easy to guard. They’re bench is still suspect (Although I really like that Jack White guy). But Bolden has had decent games in the past only to follow it up with a disinterested 4 rebound, 4 TO game. You can’t count on him at all.

In short, I’m still not buying the hype. We’ll beat them at least once and so will UVa. If they run roughshod over Gonzaga next, maybe I’ll reconsider.

And, if Gonzaga beats them, and how they beat them, then I'll reconsider. But from what I've seen, it's way more than hype. They're the best team in college basketball at the moment. And, no one is injured, so they're even more lethal. I don't see any weakness on their team.

Reddish is really really good dude.

But I agree that I'm not 100% sold yet, once teams get film on them we will see if they can actually beat teams in the half court.

34-9 ft attempts
24-13 in fouls called

Nearly double in fouls called and 4 times the ft attempts. That’s hard to spin, dookies.
Yeah... the foul disparity last night was absurd! Jason Williams applauded that part of their game strategy.

Eh, just using the numbers isn't a good way to tell if the game was called poorly. There are plenty of legitimate reasons why there could be such a big difference.

Yeah - I remember someone tried to do this with UVA tourney games complaining about the officials and it turned out they just sat around shooting 3s instead of going inside to get fouled.

The only way to tell if a game is called poorly is to watch it I think.

Well I hope this puts to rest you thinking they are head and shoulders above the rest of CBB. They MAY win this game but they ain’t all that.

Well... I'm glad to see this outcome. The dookies are beatable for sure. Apparently they were trailing the whole game, and by as much as 16 points. I was afraid Gonzaga was going to blow it by missing free throws.

Missed free throws for Gonzaga but bad empty possessions for Duke on the other side.

Well, a certain somebody basically ran Coby White down after he carried the team in a Texas defeat. Tried to save face while giving out some I told you so compliments concerning Coby. Now I see we keeping up with blown transitions. I gave radar another spin this year, and it building up to have a repeat of the past few years

Message boards aren't fun anymore

Gary’s thing this year is to try to sound like he knows more basketball than anyone else. Instead, his posts are freaking idiotic when he starts talking about geometry, blown whatevers, and the “third level of secondary break” which just makes no f-into sense.

Him being so wrong on Coby, Leaky, and Platek is one of my favorite parts of this Tar Heel season.

How the F does dook get unranked Indiana in the ACC / B1G challenge? I thought they were supposed to match up the predicted top teams from each; no 2’s against each other and so on?

They should be playing MSU, or Michigan. Indiana was picked 4th or 5th from what I’ve seen.
