You guys sound like you're having a typical FSU season. Just no consistency, which we FSU fans have learned to accept, but really isn't normal for a program like UNC.
What? We're ranked 8th in the country at 19-4 overall and tied for 1st in the conference at 9-1. That's what a typical Tar Heel season looks like, my friend.
Sorry, I just saw the responses in the thread and it sounded like you guys were having a down season. 19-4 and ranked 8th is what I would expect from the Heels. Either way, I'm happy to see that you beat Miami.

Every season a great team will have their C game and a mediocre one will have their A+ game. Great teams find a way to win those ones. We did that because Coby and Luke were clutch as shit. Miami made huge shots and we answered.

Dude, I was just going off of what seemed like a lot of frustration in the thread. I didn't mean anything by it, I was actually trying to be supportive. I don't really follow college basketball, so I didn't know you guys were having a good season. I already apologized for the post. It wasn't meant to be mean-spirited.
Miami always plays us tough it seems since Laranaga has been there. I hate those noon games as it seems like the Heels always come out sluggish. The second half definitely had better energy. It was a gutty win that should be good confidence wise going forward.
I'm not trolling, that was completely stupid on Miami's part. Why on Earth wouldn't you foul or at the very, very least not leave Luke Maye WIDE open?

Yup, I was watching that game. That shot was pretty painful.
Both Miami defenders collapsed on White, who was 7-10 from behind arc and on fire in the 2nd half

Colby white is bout to be a lottery pick and as a freshman is already as good as joel berry was as a senior. Dont @ me.

White is in the running for the most absolutely bad ass freshman in UNC basketball history.
Dude was clutch yesterday; he was 5 for 5 on threes after Heels went down 7 with 7 minutes to go.
I think he's also in the running for being the most missed OAD player that I can ever remember.
It's pretty amazing how the game has evolved. Imagine if he stayed 4 years? Or, just 3 years...

Well, I look at it more like this; This year's team NEEDS Coby White a lot more than 1982's team NEEDED Michael Jordan.
If this team didn't have Coby White, I shudder to think where the team would be at this point, or at the end of the season.

One guy has an NCAA title, the other guy has none
One guy is 6-0 in NBA Finals, the other guy is 3-5.
One guy played several times though sickness and injury in a league that allowed much harder contact, the other guy takes many days and games off, even when striving for a playoff spot (against GS Warriors recently, while totally healthy) for "load management"
One guy just knew he was the best ever, but didn't have to say it, because most all others did; the other guy goes out of his way to proclaim himself the best ever, though few others will
One guy went out with a killer instinct, playing to win, with something to prove every time he laced them up; the other guy says he's really "proven and done it all" with "nothing left to do or prove" (ie - checked out, coast mode, killer instinct gone, if he ever had it)
I will take "that one guy" over "the other guy" every day and twice on championship Sunday.
