He's not good at playing them. He has gone too far into the OAD BS IMO, if he played his bench we wouldn't have as many transfers and people would still be around. Unfortunately that's not his strong suit, he rides and dies with his top 7 at best.

Actually, if we lose it would have been Goodman that jinxed us.
I kind of think that too but the line is moving in Heels direction—from Heels -2 to Heels -3. So that seems like maybe people in the know are factoring him being out. I wonder a bit how effective he might be in first game back. I think I heard he hasn’t done any contact /‘scrimmage work yet.
I don’t know why K would talk so much about him being doubtful if indeed he is 50 - 50 or better chance to play. It’s not like that game is influencing any UNC coach or player.
Sure K wants to win this game but deep down if you told K he could lose this game AND have Zion at 100% for ACC tourney, I think he’d take the L. The tourney trophy means a lot more to K than the UNC rivalry I think.
And, he could always say that the L was, again, because Zion wasn't playing.
I still think UNC should get the #1 seed if they sweep the dookies.
We need to win at least a couple of games in the ACCT too. duke's two wins over UVA are probably the best wins in the country.
In some cases it is better to be the #5 overall than the #4 (last one seed). Just depending on how they set the brackets

I would be fine with a 2. I certainly wouldn't have thought that was possible in December.
Whether the dude plays or not, I ain’t buying for a second that the Heels roll. We all know how this rivalry goes, and dook still has plenty of talent. Their poor performance last game has no bearing on tonight. You can bet they will be focused and motivated to win.
if carolina gets the #1 and they’re in columbia, i’ll be pissed...i leave for palmetto bluff that friday...made reservations counting on no way they’d be a 1.

@gteeitup even if Heels are a 2 seed I think they will play in SC. Historically the committee places all 1s and 2s close to home to reward the team and to get a big number of fans of 1s and 2s to somewhat fill the arenas for the first two games.
I think things could shake out possibly to still have 3 1s from ACC. It has happened before with the big 10 and maybe the old Big East? Say UNC wins tonight, Uva wins today and some combination of Dook, UVA and UNC make the ACC championship game - I’d be hard pressed to see a team more deserving than those three - from Big Ten or sec. it’d help for Kentucky to lose today or next week. And probably for MSU and Michigan each to lose once more.
UNC might beat duke twice, beat the zags, and tied for first in best conference. They are prolly high ranked in Kenpom, net, bpi etc. why not 3 for ACC?
Well, I don't think Gonzaga is worthy, either. I'm biased, I guess. Their conference is garbage. Their season from the beginning of January to now is just one crappy team after another. Imagine if UNC was in a conference full of Wake Forests... not really much of a challenge. Pepperdine, Pacific, San Diego, St. Mary's, Loyola-Marymount???

Dook probably could lose tonight but if they beat us in ACCT, and at least get to the finals, they are probably a 1 (if basketball Jesus is going to play).
That is so true. I mean maybe st Mary’s is on a wake level - but every other team in that conference is mid major or D2 level. If zags are in ACC - 4 to 6 conference losses, big 10, big 12 or sec - 3/5 conference losses I think. Sort of a gimmick for them to get an auto #1. They are good but in conference their games are like scrimmages.
