I picked up on that too, but there's no need for head-scratching. This is what makes all this just a typical, meaningless circle jerk. It's just a little circus for fans to goo-ga over. If you take something that's almost completely subjective to begin with, and then expose it to the opinions of the biased and unthinking, you shouldn't look for sensible results. Unfortunately, it leaves a mark and you can only hope that the wounded understand the nature of it.

That place went down hill when Dattier got booted. What a dick that guy was. And he was quite the wordsmith too so you kind of appreciated it when he was roasting an adversary. I loved him.

My g/f is a light user of facebook and twitter. Several weeks ago she was showing me a video on facebook of a puppy playing with a ball twice his size. Right above it was a photo I asked about. G/f said that is what they had for dinner. I looked at her, back at the photo, shook my head and walked away. How can anyone on the planet care what someone had for dinner?
I agree about UVA.. they can make an ugly game unbearable to watch.
my stepson was on facebook way back when I had some curiosity about it. So I asked him how it was and he said that for the most part it was a PITA, because of the kind of stuff you mentioned....'friends' telling you, without you asking, what they had for dinner and what movie they're going to see and stupid crap like that. Good for announcements though.
No thanks to the social media stuff. If tic tac or WTF ever comes up with something worth seeing, it will probably end up on youtube and youtube is something I do indulge in.. Hell, Neanderthal that I am, I still think of the phone as a crutch, a necessary evil. Face to face is what's real, not facebook to facebook.
I actually joined facebook maybe 7-8 years ago. Deleted after a few months. I remember seeing these posts of different things and them saying to type Amen and they would give a reason. I knew at that point I was on the wrong site. People that believe typing Amen with change something are just plain tards.

And I'm like you. I've watched the entire game maybe three times, but from ten minutes in and less, I couldn't begin to tell you how many times I've mind-tasted those salty, salty dook tears. Just delicious. My favorite shot is the decently attractive gal with the dookie mask looking sideways at the camera so forlornly. You know what I really hate? Inspirational messages on social media. I loathe them. Like, if you're going to social media for inspiration, lord help you. And the validation it gives those that post that trite crap annoys the f*ck out of me.
