It's a shame Iowa couldn't have won some games in the tourney.. with equality on their uniforms they could have really made a difference in the world.

I know the shooting shirt they wore earlier this year that was sorta retro was team issued. The ball in isn't though. I've seen those for sell. Before the rona, UNC had a leftovers sale every year for teamed issued gear that wasn't used.
My three takeaways
1. I hate talking about refs, but that second half was pathetic. I was starting to wonder if someone was paid at halftime.
2. The second half coaching by Hubert was really bad.
3. This game was the perfect example of why you need to play your bench.
All that said, it's awesome to still be playing next week. Did not see that coming.

I only was in front of a TV from the moment Brady was walking back into Locke room but I feel like we played not to lose instead of playing to win from that point forward.
SWEET 16
That was the turning point. We got seriously rattled. Not to mention of the next 14 fouls, 13 went against us. But we overcame.
When even pat forde, Doug glottlieb, and Seth Davis say unc is getting jobbed by the officials it must really be bad.
Yeah I saw some very pro Duke accounts even saying this was embarrassing officiating.
The only one that I can think of that was on a similarly horrendous level was when Maryland got hosed in the 2001 FF vs dook.
Choosing McKoy to inbound the ball wasn’t Hubert’s best moment of the season
With Kentucky and Baylor out of the way this team has a real chance to get to the FF. Won't be easy but it's certainly possible.
Has anyone ever made more of an impact than Brady Manek in one year at UNC? Is Coby White the 2nd choice? Maybe Marvin?
Marvin has to be top of the list on that one. Between the put back and national championship, he's hard to beat.
Had to watch on DVR just a little while ago. Right up until things went downhill I was ready to come on here and praise Hubert to no end. He's done a great job of getting these guys locked in and playing their best ball of the year at the right time.
That being said, you've gotta try something different to get the ball in bounds and up the court when the refs are letting your guys get mauled. He just kept running one of Roy's old in bound plays over and over.

Man, do you guys realize how bad UNC has to be getting screwed for a board of UK fans to complain about the refs? This officiating is as bad and one sided as I've seen in a long time.
Sochan was baiting Manek and Bacot from the tip, and it eventually worked. dude was playing thug ball.
With Manek being at okla for four years I assume he woulda played Baylor numerous times. Wonder if there’s some bad blood
i for one definitely enjoyed the “eyes look” at their bench after manek’s buckets lol.
On what planet is that a F2. F1 maybe. And they looked at it on screen for minutes, and made it equivalent to punches thrown and landed? That alone should result in at least a year suspension from officiating for all those involved
Got my tickets this morning for the East regional. Weren’t cheap but a win on Friday will make it worth every penny.
but I bet after that inbounding nightmare, unlike Roy he'll make some changes. And I'm all in on Hubert at least for now for the one thing that really stands out to me. We have fight, no question...but we've had fight before. What seems to be missing is the yo-yo effect, where we make a run and then fail to step on that neck so that the other team comes right back with their own run. Lather, rinse, repeat. Don't count this last game, that was an aberration, or maybe an abortion if you will. Up until the refs put on their Baylor uni's, we were stepping on that neck.
My mind is way more open regarding Hubert than I thought it could be so soon.
Where are you sitting? Tickets through the Rams Club weren't too pricey, but they usually aren't very good seats.
