Yeah coach and his brother Bryce are legit insiders. I think I mentioned that the last time he got roasted on THR for posting recruiting info. Not sure why dadika got so worked up, he was just posting positive information about UNC and Moore.

I always appreciate coach and his info. He shouldn't have to be questioned every time he posts info just because he roots for Duke. Jesus, I wish he'd post more, he's 1000 times more informed than gary.

One thing I find both refreshing and hilarious is that you never pull punches with those guys.
They're just so ridiculous, so sometimes you have to just repeat plain logic over and over and hope some over there see the light. Everything about that board is rotten, including the moderating. The moderator "likes" certain poasts he has zero business liking because they're either divisive and/or bullying and/or childish.

Sometimes I do lose my cool over there, but generally I do my best to pick my battles and force myself to make calm poasts in the face of dumb poasts.

(putting this in this thread even though it's football related because Raidar...)

"Auburn hires law firm to investigate allegations that a tutor took exam for at least one football player." (ESPN)

But how can that be?! We've been told Auburn is squeaky clean and never does wrong!!!

Gary said it's BS, so don't worry about it.

Are you all talking about topps coach? I interact with him on the main board. I think he has some legit info but is all ABC about this academic stuff, on par with the worst of some of the main board guys at times. Unlike most of them he is pretty reasonable in not responding like an idiot most of the time though.

Talking about @Coach325 . Dadika was talking shit about him, then Clint chimed in and made dadika look like an idiot. Dadika hasn't been on radar since.

Unfortunately my “source” is not in chapel hill today and has gone radio silent.

Theres not even any twitter rumors.

It's gonna be bad. I don't know what "bad" is. But we know it's gonna be that. I've been told that all the people in the know believe that.

Something i’ve misunderstood from the get go (as has jay bilas evidently) is that the ncaa is not maintaining the courses are improper benefits but rather the access to the courses we provided to the athletes is. They claim athletes got preferential treatment in enrolling and getting assignments and turning in work and that this treatment is an improper benefit. So basically worse case scenario if any bball players got this treatment then we can expect them to be ruled ineligible and all wins vacated.

So on the bright side though the use of “fake classes” and “academic fraud” will not be accurate descriptions since ncaa has backed off those claims. Lol.

Honestly, at this point, I don't care anymore. Seriously. I really don't care what happens. I've said before, if they take wins and banners away, who cares? They can't take away the enjoyment I got from watching it happen. If they give us a post season ban, then I guess I'll watch until the end of the regular season. If they cut scholarships, I'll root for the guys that we have.

I think that is what they have finally settled on with the third NOA, but it was originally not about that. I didn't read all of the last one, but from what I read the way they frame their reasoning is still based on the structure and how easy the class was. To me the third NOA was their way of preparing for the court case. They realized that the jurisdictional argument was a winnable argument for us, so they tried to pivot and make it sound like the punishment isn't a result of the actual class. The only problem is they don't have much to hang their hat on, so much of the improper benefits charge is still based on the content of the class. It's just a bad position for them to be in.

Exactly, if they admittedly have no jurisdiction over the quality of classes how can they have a prob with who enrolls in them?
