@heelmanwilm said that objectively, the list had it right and I responded with a more closely connected, subjective POV (which I indicated as such). I wasn't saying the list was wrong within its limited parameters of measurables, I was saying that the reality is that Dean was a better coach.
As a matter of fact, if you want to go by numbers, even Roy belongs above K. because he has more championships in the head-to-head matchup while Roy was coaching us. He's also the only coach ever to bag 400+ wins at two different schools, and his record against K was almost even in spite of K being well established when Roy started coaching UNC.
All things considered, to me...to ME...any ranking of K will always have an asterisk beside it.
